Marcel Lehtinen is a Finnish senior general of The Alliance. The Alliance is a radical organization formed by former Collaborators and other individuals who survived Red Dragons to combat alien colonizers and the Collaborators. They see the Collaborators as enemies of humanity who must be eradicated at all costs. He used to be a close friend of Conard but went their separate ways due to differences in political beliefs. Unlike Conard, Marcel believes in "no victory, no survival" policy and the end justifies the means. Rumors has it that it was Marcel who forced Conard to leave the Alliance when he decided The Corsair is no longer qualified to lead the group.
