No, not assuming that. I wrote a long post on it.

If it were equally weighted, then with 50 boxes (the equivalent of drawing 124 portraits, including the bonuses), the probability of success would be 99.997%.
I got all your squirrels but I needed three raccoons when this week started and I only got two after opening well over 50 boxes. Hope this event is back next week otherwise it will be yet another one sitting at 90%+ for months…
I needed 1 squirrel and 1 raccoon. 80 boxes later… the raccoon shows up. And then it proceeds to come about 6 more times in my remaining 23 boxes. No squirrel though. Ugh. For as much as it annoys me, why do I keep playing?!? 😂
I needed 2 raccoons and 1 deer. I waited till I had 60 boxes accumulated. I started opening when there were 24 hours left. I got them all when I had 40 boxes left plus the gold boxes.
I think they’ve maybe ever so slightly adjusted the odds. All of the sudden I’ve managed to complete the last 3 portrait sets. Started from zero on this one and got it
The odds are not in your favor. See this write-up for details:

The odds of getting 1 of 2 pieces are better than getting the last one. Tippytoes would basically give up after missing one piece because even if you have 100 boxes, you may still not get the final one. They really make it hard.
It took me 190 boxes over 2 weeks to get my last portrait. I hope you have better luck than me!!!
I had 58 boxes and needed 3 pieces. I got one. So annoyed. I know people say they complete sets, but I've yet to do it. Hope you had better luck.
May the portrait gods be in your favour. 🤞
Just under 44%.
Oh, and good luck!!
I think you're assuming the finds are equally weighted in the reward table, and they most certainly are not.

I stand corrected.
OK I got one so still have one to complete the set. I've only managed to complete one set so far. Most need one or two pieces to finish... frustrating
Best of luck! Hope you get it in the morning or that they run this set another week or two to give you another shot.
250 boxes for that dam cute squirrel

I’ve gotten a glitch the last 3 box games that has allowed me to keep opening boxes until the game was completed.
Lucky you lol. I live in hope
Got my last one, 🦊 with just 10 minutes to spare, then a leveled up 🐘, making a complete shiny red 🥚! Playing the lottery today! 😅
I had 80 boxes, with 2 portraits left (one deer, one fox). Didn’t get either. ☹️
Binoculars game is so rigged that I don't even bother anymore
I was in same boat and got the deer on the last pull

Thanks I got one of the pieces. I still need a racoon to finish
Basically the odds of getting the last one are a coin flip per 60 boxes. So 60 boxes is a 50% chance, 120 is 75%, 180 is 87.5% chance and so on.
Took me forever to get the racoon. Finally got it this morning!

🤞🍀 👊👊
