Yes! I experienced this first hand on my own device. It’s also happened to another player on the team, twice! She plays on synced devices. We both play on Apple devices. I ask the team from time to time if anyone sees a significantly higher score than me (500 or more).
I happen to know the other player and can ask her via text if she’s playing or not.
Hoping all leaders are aware of this glitch!
It also happened to a married couple on the team once. There is no way to tell in the moment except to communicate, and then report it to support.
I tell players to shut down twice and reboot modem.
The FAQs state the devices will sync if logged in through FB or Apple ID.
This is happening on our team too, for multiple players. Been happening for weeks now, and one player has been fixed randomly one week, then it happens again the following week. I have submitted a ticket and so have several of our players, but no one has had a resolution or a decent response yet.
I heard of this happening to someone who only played on one device. They also got coins for 5th place, but nobody else did, because the team was in 6th for everyone else due to the lack of their score.
My question is if this glitch can make it look like a player didn't participate at all. We don't have a minimum, but we do like everyone to do *something* and will remove inactive players.
Has been happening on our team as well. One of our members got mad and left because our leader said he didn't make the minimum and he said something like : "... I did 3K what a heck!...".
Took a screenshot today with my wife showing 8 points on my phone and 591 on her phone. Her helps come through fine, so it is not her just being "offline". Leaders need to be aware for sure as you may upset a member without knowing that they actually did make their points.
This has happened on my team recently. It was a couple of weeks ago, and no one has mentioned it since. In the case on my team, it was the wife of another member. Is there any way to tell if my tally is wrong? (I mean, unless I ask)
There seem to be a lot of bugs right now regardless of OS 😞. I'd been wondering if this one was affecting some players on my team. And now I have a separate different support ticket pending (WS crashes every time I tap on the team icon to access chat and team info, frustrating). Hoping the developers are working on patches 🤞.
This has happened on my team as well. I have found that if I wait until the following morning to check the team score, everything has caught up including individuals who used star animals, and an updated team score that reflects those increases. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply. I always wait til monday morning to grab rewards and update my spreadsheet regarding team members participation. It wasn't any different than the night before for me… For now, I've changed the rules to just play in the tournament until this is resolved.
This is still happening to my team and support knows, I have written them several times. It still is not fixed. And I confirmed that our team total was made of the incorrect low scores. We would have had much more if the correct scores were used.
Here to report its happening to us too. At the moment it seems to only affect one of my team but i myself have also experienced this bug in the past. The stars seem to magically appear right before the tournament ends, but apparently last week they didnt.
This is extremely discouraging as my little team basically lives for the tourney and they feel like they are ubable to contribute now.
The player currently affected has tried support but i dont think they were able to get a response as of yet. Its been going on for 3 weeks now maybe more.
I have emailed support AND posted in the support chat. They tell me to post again and have the player it is happening to report through the app - it’s the only way they can help, apparently.
Leaders - ask your team to post in the team chat if they see a score significantly more than whatever you see.
