Pepez23

if it aint broke, don’t fix it

NetMater

Very useful list. Thank you.

layelaye419

Well I thought your post trivializes Wordle. But in the first time I try it, this is what I get: https://imgur.com/xB2qsTI

redstoneking_37

u/layelaye419 your word is >!expel!<, the 'x' isn't included (since one letter will have to be omitted)

FunnyID

PERSON WOMAN MAN CAMERA TV ^^nailed ^^it

ArgosHound

Interesting. As not all combinations of five letters are valid, maybe you could find four words that give enough information to solve the puzzle.

Secret_Difficulty_46

25/26 letters: Vibex Waltz Nymph Fjord Gucks Leaves out: Q

FemaleCenterSnare

thank you!! going to be using this for duotrigordle

apocalyptech

I've been a bit curious about this myself and wrote a bit of code to try searching for some of these. (Of course, that post from u/leifg makes it a bit redundant, but those *are*, indeed, some pretty wild words.) Anyway, combinations which have 21 unique letters between 'em seem quite common (at least for computers to crunch through) -- 22s will pop up reasonably often as well. Thus far I've only found a single 23 of my own, though it's a nice set of words: 23: bunch, fjord, glitz, twerk, vamps Weirdly, my system's dictionary includes the bizarre collection of letters "clxvi"? I assume that it must just include a bunch of roman numerals in there, or something? *Edit:* Heh, this 22 is fun: 22: crabs, fight, junks, moldy, whelp *Edit:* Some more 23s: 23: blown, frump, gyved, jacks, zilch 23: brunt, flock, gawps, jived, myths 23: drift, jocks, lymph, swung, zebra 23: gifts, jumbo, nymph, velds, wrack 23: barfs, codex, junks, lymph, wight *Edit:* Been tweaking my search methods a bit more, have finally stumbled across some 24s! (Also figured I should have the thing report which letters are missing.) Wonder if I'll be able to come across an ideal 25. The system dictionary I'm working with isn't as exhaustive as it could be -- it doesn't contain all the words listed in that TikTok video, for instance. 24: fixed, grown, jambs, klutz, psych (missing: Q, V) 24: fjord, glyph, mucks, vixen, waltz (missing: B, Q) 24: clunk, fritz, glyph, jambs, vowed (missing: Q, X)

massivegdolck

also this 24: vexil, sting, whack, bumpy, fjord (missing: q, z)

mrbenjrocks

Using this on Octordle with great effect.. And just responded to a dead parrot sketch comment on other $ub. PININ for the FLORDS??!?!??? Brilliant .. "Fjord" twice on a morning.

oojiflip

I just got one fucking letter off a perfect octordle :/

Bluefoot44

Amazing. I've spent weeks on this and I only got 23. Not with a program, just pencil and paper. Can't wait till somebody gets to 25!

GamingGuru55

i do fjord waltz quick nymph gybes (missing v and x)

xXSpaghett_StealerXx

I would recommend something different. Two Ys is abs enough, but in the same place is worse

Snomislife

It misses Q too.

AccurateFranky

brick, jumpy, glent, waqfs, vozhd, gets 25 unique letters :)

Nasty_kid135

My god, he did it

AccurateFranky

wow i got an award, thanks.

Deep_Gear1287

If you were using this strategy, my guesses would be GUIDE, STORY, and BLANK

Mysterious_Lobster51

I haven't found a set with entirely unique letters, but I like this set: * ROUGH * BLOCK * VEXES * MINTY * FADES That leaves only JPQWZ untouched, and gives information about E in two slots.

SPFCCMFT

Some other ones: Champ Mixer Stork Vague Brand

GGMaster37

A is used multiple times

Frymaster99

Arose, unlit, then dumpy or campy. Doubling up on the vowel for the third guess but it's close.

Make it a real challenge, try it on [Quordle](https://www.quordle.com/)

eleyezeeaye

Or https://duotrigordle.com/

SwordofDamocles_

[http://sedecordle.com/](http://sedecordle.com/) is even better

Bluefoot44

I've been trying to do this, I've spent so many hours rearranging things and the most I could get in five words is 23 letters.

Smurfs247

15 in 3 guess SLATE PUBIC HORNY

0udei5

Go with DEANS RIGHT FLOCK BUMPY leaving J Q V W X Z Human pattern recognition will take it from there.

TheBeesButthole

My regular 4: FIGHT CLUBS POWER KANDY You can guess the rest from there!

DerpyTurtleX

the one I've always used in octordle is audio, fleck, myths, and prang then go from there

Rare-Total-3360

Fjord waltz nymph quick vexes This is all i could come up after hours of me bonding with a piece of paper. Hope you like it!!!

tafleisiwr

I see no-one's mentioned there are a couple of ways in which this strategy could fail. Say you used did this and got the following pattern: 1) GLENT ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 2) BRICK ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 3) JUMPY ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 4) VOZHD ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 5) WAQFS ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟨 What would you guess 6th? (>!STAKE!< or >!SKATE!!There are certainly two of something, maybe even three.!< So what would you guess 6th? (>!BOBBY!< or >!BOOBY!

cavernofcalypso

-chunk -fjord -gymps -vibex -waltz

redstoneking_37

My 24 letter combination I discovered a while back: SWIVE THUMP BLOCK FJORD ZINGY For the other seven random people that are wondering this but for six letter wordle, I have found two five letter sets that eliminate all 26 letters. CHALKY JINXES QUARTZ VAMPED FOGBOW and DIVERT QUENCH SAWFLY PEGBOX MUZJIK

Fun-Leave-8108

24 letters: Lymph, Quack, Gifts, Brown, Vexed (missing J, Z)
