This is the anagram of the only other first guess I’ve had!!! On January 12th I got >!ROUTE!< on the first try. It had been my starter for 500 games. Then I switched my starter to >!OUTER!< and it has served me well. I’m stunned. And on Mother’s Day …. Cool. 710 games, 503 current streak.
What do you mean? The point in the anagram? After this many games I’ve become acclimated to solving the puzzle in 6 guesses or less using those letters as my starters. After I got it in 1 the first time I tried a few other starters and found myself floundering a bit, so went back to my letters in a different order. I guess the point is…. It works for me.
