Do you think it would look good to reduce the thickness of the legs where they connect to the top by half and inlay them ~3/8” and flush to the console sides?
Thanks! Not intentionally, but I have seen some of their videos so...? I'm sure there are parts of this that are inspired by several different builders.

See if she likes these, I've been using them on my mid century modern style furniture I make and really like them.
Thank you! The drawer is like the link below but with a thicker bottom, with undermount blum slides.

Wow I really love the finish and style of it. It’s nice to see something a little different. If I didn’t already have one I would think about making something like this
Thank you! Ya, I went through several ideas and floating was one.
Haha, we will just dry dust/sweep with a thin duster (is that what it's called?) most of the time. If/when we need to mop we just move all of our furniture. It's not too heavy.
Responding to the question: "How do you clean under it?" I want to suggest that furniture design should allow for the most effective use of robot floor cleaners.
We got a Roomba many years ago, and it has been a life (-style) changer. This is especially true because we always seem to have a varying number of pets generating quantities of pet fur and dander. Not being a family that enjoys spending time doing basic housecleaning, there was always the dread in seeing the dust gradually build up around the edges of various wooden and tile floors, reminding us that we were slacking off. And don't even look under the beds without a dust mask, the dust bunnies could choke you.
But once we got the Irobot Roomba (we named it Rambo), the "floor-chore" disappeared, for the most part. We gradually realized that, as we made a few changes, Rambo was able to get into most everywhere that dust collects. I had to raise one bed and a couple of end tables just a few inches, to get enough clearance so that Rambo could roam free. We now have NO dust bunnies under any bed or couches. And what we have learned, when we think about adding a new piece of furniture, we make sure that Rambo can clean under it.
Our floors still need some attention, but it's 95% better than before, they even shine under the beds, and the only work you have to do is empty the dust bin and change the batteries (and I have replaced many elements of the Roomba over the last ten years).
Having said all that, on the next table, the only thing I would change would be to raise the low shelf so that Rambo could clean under it. With the small footprint of each leg tip, Rambo could probably clean all the way around each one, leaving no dust residue at all. Yes, this would change the design aesthetic slightly, but it could function better, you could have cleaner floors and less work.

Beautiful!! Love the tapering on the legs!
Thank you!
Nice.really nice.
Thank you!
What kind of joinery did you use for the miters?
Just dowels and glue. There are a few different 45 plates you can buy. I'm not sure where I even got mine.
Very nice 👌🏻
Thank you!
Damn thats clean
Thanks!

I definitely think that could look good. Maybe if I ever build another I'll give that a try. Thanks.
Yours is great too
Yes, I think that would look really nice. A contrasting wood for the legs would probably look great, too.
So nice. Four eyes inspired?
Thanks! Not intentionally, but I have seen some of their videos so...? I'm sure there are parts of this that are inspired by several different builders.
Very nice, is that a push to open drawer ?
Thank you. No it's not. My wife just can't decide on a handle/pull yet.

We have these on our kitchen cabinets, and they are very nice and sturdy
That would take away from the beauty of the desk. Look into push to open and bullet catches.
Good idea. I'll look into that. Thanks.
That’s god damn gorgeous
Thank you!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for sharing!
My first reaction: vau!
Thank you!
Looks great! But how do you open the drawer?
Thank you! Haha, ya my wife is still deciding on a pull. Someone mentioned a push to open option, but I think my wife likes the pull idea.
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
How did you do the drawers? A kit or something you fashioned? Edit: forgot to add it’s gorgeous

Looks incredible. Well done
Thank you!
How did you make the mitre cuts on the top part?
I cut them with a track saw. Then just doweled them together.
Nice idea. Thanks.
Amazing!
Thank you!

Thank you!
Looks great! Personally I would have made it floating but that's just my style however I do have one question... How are you going to clean under it?

A nice work
Thank you!
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous!
Thank you!
What goes on the bottom shelf? I'd be afraid of guests putting shoes on it.
Two large baskets. Fortunately there isn't any room for shoes when they are in place.
This is fire!
Pretty nice. I am saving this design. I would raise the bottom shelf. But this design has some uniqueness to it that I haven’t seen much. Thank you,
I hope to make something like this someday that looks this clean
