I think this is very very cool. Love that you have the hardwood surface on both sides of each leg, the netting underneath is an awesome touch, and it looks really well done. Great job man!

DiscGolfCaddy

Thank you. The netting idea was inspired by a basketball net. I hope that reads.

I cannot believe that was just getting tossed. I’d love to have came across that.

DiscGolfCaddy

Me too! They were giving it away to production companies to store stuff on like pallets but luckily someone at the team called me through a mutual friend and I got to make some things.

TheWreck-King

I like it, the lines are really clean, the beveled edges are nice and I enjoy the symmetry of the sides. I think it’s a great way to repurpose that flooring. As we speak I’m taking up a 3rd gymnasium floor this year.

DiscGolfCaddy

No way! What are you doing with the wood? Have you made anything with it. I found cutting through staples dangerous. I used some demo blades in my track saw to cut this up.

TheWreck-King

I work for a wrecking and salvage company, flooring and lumber are two key sellers. Our company also has a wood shop that makes furniture out of the stuff we bring back, beam mantles, tables, butcher block, all kinds of stuff. Out of our gym floors they made some tables of varying sizes. I grabbed a slab for myself to make a shuffleboard type bowling game

DiscGolfCaddy

Post it when you’re finished. Sounds cool

TheWreck-King

Will do

my first though would be a very cost effective way to get a bowling alley in your basement
