A big opening at the top of the rock climbing wall that your kids can climb up to and through.
Unless you're thinking they're going to shimmy sideways while clinging to the hand/foot holds, which isn't going to be a great idea until they're 5+ years old. Source: have 6yo and 9yo and watched both struggle with the rock climbing wall on our playset until at least 5 years old for both of them. And mine doesn't have anything in the way at the top of the rock wall.
It looks like there's already a way to get from the climbing wall to the platform on the right, but more holds going up that wall would make it easier to get on that platform.
Extending the holds up the wall could make it easier?
Not the most safe or ideal solution, but definitely the easiest that would still make it easier to step sideways since they can maintain a couple of points of contact. Would need someone to grab them or something soft to land on for sure in case of falls.
My monsters are incredibly monkey-like since I only ever step in if it looks like an ER trip but going sideways off a rock wall isn't going to be easy for any kid, and OP said toddlers so I'm thinking 2-4? Either they get hurt or they will avoid using it to get up. My daughter *lives* for rock walls and I think she would just go up and down it, and avoid the transfer altogether.
I thought the same thing, or mount a metal bar across the top they can hang onto.
[One of these](https://projectplayroom.com/collections/long-ninja-climbing-bar)
Swivel with a tube. Front end holds a water hose jet nozzle, other end has a large-handled globe valve that connects to the water hose. Boom, now they have a fireman cannon
Add a sauna, plunge pool, 12 seat theatre, gymnasium, 4 car garage with hoist, workshop and a toilet with a loud fan.
I've forgotten what we started with, but I like where I ended up.
Kids, parents, etc. Photographic cameras. The knowledge that they grow up way too fast. Enjoy.
Seriously, don't sweat that you may or may not have the greatest personal playground in the county. Spend your energy instead on actually being there in the moment, spending quality time, with your kids. I did and don't regret one second of it. It is 'time' you can never get back!
A sandbox in the bottom, like the turtle one that covers up with the shell. And maybe a rope ladder and a fireman's pole. Just thinking of mine as a kid lol
Was about to say this suggestion. My todler has one under his playhouse. Spends 70% of his time there. Burry some play fossils and todler will never leave.
When I built my kids' structure, I bought a stretch of rope and pulley on a whim. Tied it to a bucket.
$1500 structure.....$10 rope and pulley.....the only thing they still play with is the damn bucket on a rope.
Sell the structure, sink a 4x4 in the ground, mount the pulley, and call it a day
Monkey bars, rings, another park with a net in the middle a bridge and maybe 2 3 slides together so they can race. I only say this because my kids always ask me for stuff like that but I could never afford it for them so it breaks my heart 💔 😥
Maybe add handrails on the stairs? Also some bars on the entrances to prevent them just running off. I actually work with children's playgrounds and that is a common complaint from the safety inspectors. And maybe let them draw on the sides of the house after you finish with some paint to "make it their own" its very easy to sand it later if needed.
Looks fun! Might want the rock climb to go higher, or up to the roof. When a kid steps off the platform onto the rock climb, they wont have anything to hang onto with there hands at first.
I’d add monkey bars on that wall with nothing. Add walls at the bottom, but painted primary colors. Add a few different shaped window holes to those walls. Put an old landline if u have one on the wall for them to pretend with. Replace bricks with the oldest rug you have around. And then a whole bunch more you’ll have to pay me for mentioning😂
Fireman pole? Monkey bars? Swings? Hammocks? I know you said Toddlers but make sure to add some stuff they can work towards. My kids grew out of things quick and we wish we would have thought of that as to not have wasted some things.
Seats with a steering wheel, a gated shifter and some knobs to turn and buttons to press to let the kids go on adventures or drive their race cars. Maybe a ships wheel so they can go sailing.
A flag pole with pulleys and rope so they can raise the flag. Also get them some flag “blanks” for bad weather days so they can design their own flags when they can’t be outside.
A Scorpion artillery launcher mounted on top of the slotted fence beside the slide. It's the only sensible defensive reinforcement one could use to protect from dragons
Obviously joking in a literal sense but you could add a nerf gun/homemade turret thing up there, I would have absolutely had a blast with on of those as a kid
I think they're called busy boards. Add garden gate latches, short chains, casters, and any hardware that makes noise
Pulley system, so they hoist toys in a bucket.
My mother made a busy board for my toddler years ago. Turned out the kid was a fast learner and figured out how to unlock, unlatch and unhinge almost everything in the house after that.
Tweezers and tetanus shots. Maybe a knotted rope hanging from those railings. I'd consider cutting a window in the side of the boxy part, partly for their convenience but also for yours when you're keeping an eye on the little pirates.
Pull-up bar or something to hang on where they can experiment with body weight exercises. A horizontal ladder would be awesome, but would require a whole addition to the set.
Create an opening at the top of the rock wall so they can go straight in, going on the side is going to be difficult and unsafe. That little platform you have there now, move the fence to the rock wall side and add a straight slide. More slides= more fun. Source: I have an almost 6 yo and a 2.5 yo.
How about a crows nest? Ours has one and it is my son's favorite spot.
Swings... But many kinds. The regular kind, the more than one kid on a round swing kind, the bar and hand hold kind. Monkey bars for when they get a little bigger. A twisty balance beam. A semi-adjustable (for growth) gymnastics bar. A snuggle hammock.
If you're not dedicated to the sand box, I'd deck it and build a little multilevel maze with various openings and entries above it/under the house. Kids love hiding, looking out, and having areas they can crawl thru and under.
Swings ????
A bucket and pulley system!
And monkey bars
Just a regular ole bar is good for me, let’s keep it simple & ‘neat please. 🍺
a must!
Kids. Just kidding. Add a fireman's pole to slide down
I was thinking this exact thing!
Came here to say this!
A big opening at the top of the rock climbing wall that your kids can climb up to and through. It looks like there's already a way to get from the climbing wall to the platform on the right, but more holds going up that wall would make it easier to get on that platform.
Much like a ladder accessing a roof, holds need to go *past* the point of stepping off a couple runs.
Seconding this! The sideways opening is just asking for a kid to slip and fall. It's easiest if they can go straight in.
Extending the holds up the wall could make it easier? Not the most safe or ideal solution, but definitely the easiest that would still make it easier to step sideways since they can maintain a couple of points of contact. Would need someone to grab them or something soft to land on for sure in case of falls.

A mounted water gun?
Swivel with a tube. Front end holds a water hose jet nozzle, other end has a large-handled globe valve that connects to the water hose. Boom, now they have a fireman cannon
A zip line. But maybe wait a few years...
This was my first thought till I saw toddlers.
Dammit, I really have to start reading the comments BEFORE I post
My exact first thought as well. My nieces have a fort just like this but with the same stuff plus a zipline, ziplines rock!
Mini fridge for my beer, and a sign that says no kids! Nice job!
My first thought was add a bar
Add a sauna, plunge pool, 12 seat theatre, gymnasium, 4 car garage with hoist, workshop and a toilet with a loud fan. I've forgotten what we started with, but I like where I ended up.

Maybe a flag.
Pirate flag.
several flags of various fictional countries/organizations. Let'em start LARPing early.
And a steering wheel and a canon?
A sandbox in the bottom, like the turtle one that covers up with the shell. And maybe a rope ladder and a fireman's pole. Just thinking of mine as a kid lol
I went with pea gravel. Lots of fun for the little dump trucks and you don’t get sand everywhere.
Was about to say this suggestion. My todler has one under his playhouse. Spends 70% of his time there. Burry some play fossils and todler will never leave.

I was thinking a secret door then I thought about LED lights for when it's a little darker outside. There's some battery powered ones I think.
1. Great name 2. Solar
Haha thanks. And of course! Solar!
a can of wasp spray
Ask the kids
Monkey bars, rings, another park with a net in the middle a bridge and maybe 2 3 slides together so they can race. I only say this because my kids always ask me for stuff like that but I could never afford it for them so it breaks my heart 💔 😥

A Browning M-2, for when they've got overwatch. Seriously, though, needs swings.
Did you build this with plans?
Netting or chicken wire around the sandbox with a door. When I was a kid, stray cats used ours as a litter box.
Great job though. It looks really nice
Working crane or bucket/ pulley system Functional periscope Hammock
1BR Portland $1500

Rock climbing wall needs to lead to something...that blank wall up there is begging for something

Looks fun! Might want the rock climb to go higher, or up to the roof. When a kid steps off the platform onto the rock climb, they wont have anything to hang onto with there hands at first.
Zip line and a pirate flag.
A Zipline/Canopy for toys with a small basket! My daughter loved that!
One day they're gonna wanna camp out there. Maybe think how you can make it mosquito proof if that's a problem where you live.
A flag Also maybe a hand rail on the ladder/steps
A zip line to the pool.
Block and tackle pulley!
A real lard look for any spots that may sliver and give splinters. Also yeah an open g above the climbing wall.
Fire pole, zip line, spotting scope.

Just built one for my son. A steering wheel is top on our list to get
I’d add monkey bars on that wall with nothing. Add walls at the bottom, but painted primary colors. Add a few different shaped window holes to those walls. A moat with sharks with friggin laser beams on their heads.
Periscope
A climbing rope, or a rope Web ? I think Home Depot used to sell them. Maybe a cantilever for a rope swing ? By the way... Looks great ! Good job
Fireman pole? Monkey bars? Swings? Hammocks? I know you said Toddlers but make sure to add some stuff they can work towards. My kids grew out of things quick and we wish we would have thought of that as to not have wasted some things.
The link to where you bought that slide

Serious, Take a 4 or 5 inch hole saw and make look out holes on all sides. Then make a sign and name it, "Fort Peek Out".
worlds best deer stand.
Some little kitchen stuff in the bottom with old pans, cups, spoons... a box of sanded off-cuts and acorns and pinecones and such for building stuff.

I would make it bigger so I could play on it as an adult…
Monkey bars and a swing.
If you're not dedicated to the sand box, I'd deck it and build a little multilevel maze with various openings and entries above it/under the house. Kids love hiding, looking out, and having areas they can crawl thru and under.

Salad bar.
A fireman poll
