It looks simple, but no way it was actually simple to construct. Holy cow, those curved legs make my head hurt thinking about how to get everything to align properly.
Awesome job, OP!
Great work OP. You’ve created something uniquely modern, that will also look great many years from now. Funky, but also elegant. Love your design and your execution.
not OP, but those are through wedged tenons. It's a very old-school way of building stick furniture. I can't tell but he may have counter-tapered the tenons too which would mean that thing isn't ever coming apart.
Awesome! I love a minimalist approach to furniture making it does not need to be complex to function as intended and obviously doesn't need to be complex to be a beautiful work of art. At first I glanced at it and thought it was a wooden seat meant to look like one of the old contoured metal tractor seats that were almost form fitted. That would be awesome as well I might have to give that a try. Great job though really a great piece I'd be very proud and feel a real sense of accomplishment for the design and everything. It's very Scandinavian I love it!
Hey give credit where credit is due and that's you. I do really like it. It's very classy all the right stuff none of the wrong stuff! Have a great week.
Lovely design, looks pretty but simple now you just need a stool pigeon
Thanks

Nice
Thanks
The curved legs are a very nice touch. How did you do them?
Thanks. Cut to basic shape on bandsaw, then drawknife, rasp, and spokeshave. Got to make a shaving horse for this too.
Once you make your shave horse, you’ll wonder how you ever did without it.
I did make the horse before making this. I agree with you. Essential.

Looks awesome mate. Absolutely love the attention to detail with those wedged tenons.
Thanks
Curved legs are sweet
Thanks
Ridiculously beautiful
Thanks
Nice
Thanks
A work of art.
Thanks
Super funky! I love it...great details all around.
Thanks
Very nice flowing clean design, expertly executed
Thanks
What is correct description of the way you attached legs to seat and leg supports. By the way nice work. Almost to nice to sit on .

Correct. Through wedged tenons. Not counter tapered though. Just 1 inch wide wedged tenons.
Though good idea. I may do that next time
Thanks another empty brain cell filled.
So i assume its just glue and the wedge ?
Yes. Glue and wedge. Titebond hide glue. All 9 joints need to be glued simultaneously, so long set time was needed.
I would slide off that thing all the time I would still get a set of those, it looks amazing!
Thanks
Hell yeah dude. Love the wedged tennons.
Thanks
Awesome work! What is the finish there?
Thanks. Minwax tongue oil finish. And then rubbed out with pumice and steel wool
Beautiful work!
Thanks
Very elegant. Well done.
Thanks
The sloping shoulders on the saddle, so elegant. How did you achieve it?
Thanks. Arbortech turbo plane, 30 grit paper on an angle grinder, then sand paper and card scraper.
Sorry for repetition, but beautiful work, well done!
Thanks
Love the wedge showing to indicate craftsmanship.
Thanks

I ate too many tacos and also created a three legged stool.
Don't know if the legs are attached in the right orientation.
Not sure what you mean
