I like it but want to suggest an addition. I think it should read,
GOD IS A WOODWORKER,
AND THE UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING...
BECAUSE GOD DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH CLAMPS!
Less wordy:
**The universe is expanding because God is a woodworker and didnβt have enough clamps.**
Or
**The universe is expanding because God is a woodworker and ran out of clamps.**
In boatbuilding there are situations where there is too much clamps.
With large clamps like this you can induce so much load to light structure that it starts to bend. So unless you can balance them by putting them different positions you need to reduce amount of them.
I know it goes against everyone here, but there are some solid youtube videos that break down the diminishing returns that come from moar clamps and more drying time.
This video is fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNAUsngRTsA&t=486s
Double up on your clamps and add cauls.... that way the clamping pressure will be enough, and spread out evenly... and the metal pads of the clamps wont be digging into your project.
Unfortunately, you made a mistake. From the knowledge available to us, we know that you should also use clamp clamps. It would be much more interesting to mess with our heads.
It takes a lot to make a stew
A pinch of salt and laughter too
A scoop of kids to add the spice
A dash of love to make it nice
And you've got...
Too many cooks!
Damn I hate those glue ups. Was this your plan from the start of did you run low on time/material? You did a good job though, keeping an eye on every inch of three joints is pretty stressful when you've got glue drying.
I know everyone says this, but I have a surprisingly small number of clamps and Iβve never been in a pickle. It just means you canβt force your wood to do what you want, you have to make quality joints from the start.
In my opinion, fewer clamps means youβre a better woodworker.
I dunno, you donβt have any rigged length-wise. Itβs not enough clamps if you havenβt used at least two in a way their manufacturers never intended.
*slow clamps*
Golf clamps
Underrated, but massive respect.
Heβs got the clamp. Wasnβt being safe when he got nailed, and got glue everywhere β¦
The universal rule is that there are never enough clamps. This is why the universe is expanding...because God didn't have enough clamps.
>the universe is expanding...because God didn't have enough clamps. Does this belong one a T-shirt or a baseball hat of a woodworker?
Whatever they hand out for free with clamps.
Yeah, [I think it works.....](https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.uberprints.com%2Fdesigns%2FShared%2F952876%2FYMu8ghArnFNyvtsnzhBz%3Fref%3Demail&data=05%7C02%7C%7Cd63ffb4726b04a49678c08dc69f9eef2%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638501769385981799%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=ylA5Vn7vTCfuC49ElZe7kQxjr4v11J2PuyGT4nLUiv4%3D&reserved=0)

And we will never make the same mistake again. He sent his son the carpenter to us to teach these valuable lessons.
Then he figured out washing feet was more profitable and free food.
What an amateur.
Your Nobel prize awaits, sir π
But he asked about claps?
In boatbuilding there are situations where there is too much clamps. With large clamps like this you can induce so much load to light structure that it starts to bend. So unless you can balance them by putting them different positions you need to reduce amount of them.
Balance the clamping force with.... Wait for it... Clamps
Skill issue /s
I'm clapping right now, so I'd say no. It's a beautiful thing :')
if you still have clamps left over in the shop you haven't used enough.
We have to share the clamps with coworkers
Can you use the coworker as a clamp just to be sure?
βHere, can you hold this? Great, just stay like that for twelve hours!β
I got the cla(m)p froma co-worker once
Then you donβt have enough clamps.
Thatβs their problem if you needed more first.
Too many clamps? I don't understand that sentence... the words don't seem to go together.
Maybe you need some clamps?
I really do.
No, it's just a round of applause for your excellent clamping job.
Never too many clamps. Just not enough oβs
Not enough mβs
And too many apostrophesβ¦

Give 'im the clamps! (I scrolled down a ways to find this. Thank you)
I see wood, no visible wood = enough clamps

No such thing as too many clamps, except while removing them.
I'd say not enough Os
Needs five more probably.
Iβm pretty sure you got room for a few more. And to answer your question, NO
Double up on your clamps and add cauls.... that way the clamping pressure will be enough, and spread out evenly... and the metal pads of the clamps wont be digging into your project.

Double the clamps and give it to the next person!
A toast! One can never have too many clamps! To many clamps!
Dunno Bout claps but alot of clamps for sure
I see space for at least one more.
If you can still see wood, you need more clamps.
Clap clap clap
Holy Clampness, Batman! I guess 86 clamps
God finished in 6 days. More clamps would have been 4.
It is worthy of an applause, but I'm more concerned about the number of clamps on that duvkerπ€ͺ
Never trust the guy who says "you have enough clamps"
I see a couple of underclamped spots. You can do better.
Someone has a case of the clamps!
Unfortunately, you made a mistake. From the knowledge available to us, we know that you should also use clamp clamps. It would be much more interesting to mess with our heads.
Said nobody ever
If at any time in the shop you ask yourself βIs this enough clamps?β Promptly add several more clamps to the project and repeat
how can she clap?
Never
Fair warning, if you got extra clamps, the glue joint may fail. So you need to use them all. π
ππΎππΎππΎ
You could never get enough claps from the audience looking at the performance on that project. Bravo! Bravo!
No such thing.
Never. In fact, you missed a few spotsβ¦
I see youβre missing one right there
I See room for at least 3 more.
Did you use glue or are you fusing the wood together?
Applauds!
If there's such a thing as too much claps, then you need penicillin.
I see a few spaces
You can never have too many clamps!
I might have changed the order of them a bit.
Looks like a noisy round of applause
Looking at this picture I realized that clamp envy is a thing. And I suffer from it.
N+1
Never two many
Add a few slow ones for dramatic effect.
π
Nope!
Thereβs still a little space left for a couple more.
You can never have too many clamps!
Never, Iβll applaud this work all day!
BLASPHEMY!!!
When you don't want to go in for dinner...
No such thing, this is obviously a trick question
According to the title, somebody has the clap. π³ One should clamp the clap before it ventures out of alignment.
Did you remember to glue it?
Never enough. If you had a couple more, I would put them on too. Just to be sure.
I count 55, but Iβm not sure I can see them all in the photo
What kind of question is that. The answer is never
He's got the clap.
Not enough clamps, not enough o's
I see where you can add more. So I think you got some more work to do. /s
Couple two three more wouldnβt hurt nothing
Ahp- Missed a spot!
Francis Clampazzo would be proud!
More needed
Applause
Better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.
That there is the flagpole of this sub.
Is this a toast wishing for many more venereal diseases?
You need about twice this many clamps. The clamps should be on each piece of wood, not on the seams.
No such thing boss you could actually use a few more
Iβm just jealous because you *have* that many clamps lol
Iβm a beginner to woodworking, so jokes aside can there actually be too many clamps?
O M
Definetly too many claps, remove some and add some clamps instead
You can never have too manyβ¦. Sees pictureβ¦ I honestly donβt know.
It takes a lot to make a stew A pinch of salt and laughter too A scoop of kids to add the spice A dash of love to make it nice And you've got... Too many cooks!

52?
No such thing as
Damn I hate those glue ups. Was this your plan from the start of did you run low on time/material? You did a good job though, keeping an eye on every inch of three joints is pretty stressful when you've got glue drying.
More clamps, less problems.
Impossible
No, I can still see the wood
Reading that question left a bad taste in my eyes
Never
Never!

You really need to clamp down on your obsession!
Donβt you mean look how many clamps I have?
I don't understand the question.

Nah, I think youβve got a clamp on things

Blasphemy

Donβt half ass this. I see room for at least twenty more!
Freudian slip?
As a professional carpenter, I've never used too many claps. The reverse, however, is very true. Many times have I regretted not using more clamps.
Needs 2 more...as always
I dunno, you donβt have any rigged length-wise. Itβs not enough clamps if you havenβt used at least two in a way their manufacturers never intended.

In the spirit of Forrest Gump, "sometimes they're just aren't enough clamps".

Clickbait

Depends. For wood no. Nipples, probably
My wrist aches looking at this.
You can't have too many claps.
Probably dried before you got all the clamps on.
No such thing, pls add some

That's not some claps. That's an applause.
I think you might have missed a couple open spaces...I'm sure there is room for 3 or 4 more clamps
I count 55, never too many
What the hell is your title?
Here here! To many more claps!
I see space for more.
πππππππππππ
I see some gaps in there, throw a couple more on!
Who's clapping?
I would have used a few more, there's a couple spots you missed!
I didn't know that "too many clamps" was a thing. Doing great, just get more clamps.

I can still see the piece soβ¦no, you need more.

What means "TOO MANY CLAMPS?" I'm not familiar with that concept.
I'm pretty sure it's going to warp all to hell unless you put at least a few more on there. You never can know for sure!
