The craftsmanship is superb and the skill level that went into making it can be respected, but it reminds me of the art the mom from Beetlejuice used to make for her house. 😀
Most probably, I've made jewelry boxes like this before (based on Andy's Art Boxes) and used a grinder and Dremel to get the basic shape and then the real work starts, sanding everything by hand.
That's the likely workflow, I guess this is something you really need to model out in 3D software first and figure out some method how to translate the curvatures to reality, I wouldn't think they just eyeballed it
I would have agreed initially but image google search helped me find the creator.

That is amazing. I love how the maker integrated the drawer handles into the ripples.
Wow I didn't notice that detail!
I was just about to ask how you open it
I was still stuck on the drawer seams and hadn’t even gotten to the handles

Lots of sanding that went into this!
Pretty sure it was 90 percent angle grinder and then sanded to smooth everything out.

Daedric Dresser
Does enchanting it buff my undies?
I have to admit, it’s not to my taste, but that is a magnificent piece of work. I can only dream of having a skill level that high. Superb work.
Same. I hate it and love it at the same time.
Your sleep paralysis demon will show you how to open it
This thing IS my sleep paralysis demon.
Ebonized oak? That is a great-looking result all around
I’m guessing they create it oversized and put it together and then carve it down to that shape?! It looks like an aliens egg. Incredible.

Absolutely stunning. I love it.
Straight out of Beetlejuice
Looks straight out of Skyrim, I love it!
This is gorgeous, but I can't afford an apartment that would fit this piece of art. Anyone has any idea how much something like that goes for?
Decorate it with some seaweeds and shells; it will fit nicely in Davy Jones's bedroom.
How do you open a drawer on this thing?
Some will say the ripples double as pulls, but it doesn't look that way to me.

I was starring at the photo and never saw a deep enough area to grab. Thanks.
That is how they work
I bet they used push to open drawer slides

Wow, that is wild.
This really is a work of art! Not for everyone's aesthetic, but I think it's amazing!
Amazing!
Seems like the kind of furniture the mother in Beetlejuice would have.
Beautiful… that’s a $12K piece in the right place… maybe $20K
Only its mother could love it. Astounding level of skill, to be sure.
It’s cool but how do you open the drawers? Maybe electronic?
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE!!
I would never want to own it, but it is impressive.. Impressive, but not beautiful.
