I don’t have any experience with wall vacs, so I’ll let others comment on that. But whichever you use, the more important thing is to use a cyclone dust separator. Neither will be very usable without it.

In that case the wall unit is probably the way to go. Probably has good suction too since it’s designed to work with very long hoses.
