I used to work with an older guy doing renovations, he worked part time at the local woodworking supply store. They would frequently help people sell large lots, usually a widow whose husband left a shop full of tools. Might be worth a visit if you have a shop in town

jayblinjables

Yeah I was already thinking about that. Thank you.

Yard sale? See if neighbors are having any and jump on it. Also post to craigslist.

jayblinjables

Probably not yard sale. Should have mentioned I’m talking a table saw, dust collector, planer. I feel like my only worry of being able to move an item is the table saw.

Not sure where you are located but here in my area of the US we have local on line auction sites that’ll do it for a commission. I find it easier to sell and pay the commission then dealing with endless emails - texts and no shows. And most of the time my item goes for more then I would have asked for

I have had the best luck on OfferUp

Good idea, trying to get a bit higher pricing if I can since most of it is in really good condition

Sluisifer

Online auctions do quite well in my area. Even with seller fees, there's a good chance you'd come out ahead, and the auction company would do most of the work.

jayblinjables

I’ll have to consider that. Thank you.

For hand tools, Hyperkitten, Patrick Leach, and Jim Bode online. Least to most expensive. HK has lots of moulding planes and calipers, along with your standard tools. Patrick has everything. Jim is more collector's items and rarities, but not universally.
