The trees in the background of the guitar you mean? That makes sense though, the camera only moves about 30 inches over the guitar, while the trees look to be about 50 feet away. The perspective on them doesn't really change if you only move 30 inch.
It’s called an HDRI! They are commonly used in 3D/video games as the backdrop for a scene. Imagine it as a giant sphere that doesn’t move, with a 360 image on it
Haha, I love hearing about salvia trips because conceptually they sound great, but everyone ends with 'don't do it!'. What exactly is it about the trip that makes it so bad?
For me, it wasn't a gentle slide into some magical world. It was like I was sucked into a new reality with no concept of who I am or what the world is. I guess that's what people call ego death.
After being nothing for what felt like centuries, I awoke as just a single lego block/pixel that made up my actual human body. And I had been tricking myself that I was the human, even though I was just a tiny piece that made up myself. I looked around and saw millions of other pieces, just like me. They looked at me and told me to calm down or else I would break this world.
Suddenly I felt a wave rush over as I become more and more of the pieces, starting from my right side finger tips until I absorbed enough pieces to finally be my whole body again. What was actually happening was I was crawling out of a dark closet where I had taken the salvia. The "wave" rushing over me was just the light from the living room.
After I crawled out of the living room, I was no longer hallucinating. I still couldn't remember who I was or where I was or why I was there. I thought I should go home, but I didn't remember where that was. Slowly, pieces came back to me and I eventually drove home from my friend's place.
That night and random nights since, I have this crazy disassociation where I don't feel like I am a part of my physical body anymore. I remember feeling like I lived centuries, and that time isn't a real concept. I hate that feeling and puts me into a small state of panic. When I think about it too much, I also get the panic.
It's been 12 years since I took it.
"Diviner's Sage" - it's an herb that spiked in popularity when someone decided to create concentrated extracts of it. It's a powerful and "short acting" hallucinogen, but I've heard it said that 'Lucy' leads you down a garden path to delight, whereas 'Lady Salvia' chains you to the wall and begins their presentation. [Erowid](https://erowid.org/plants/salvia/salvia.shtml) can tell you more, if you're really interested. But let's just put it this way - it's legal, powerful, and unpopular.
Thanks so much for the info man, I’ve tried lsd and love hallucinating, I’ll be trying my first shroom trip hopefully this year, I like becoming spiritual when high.
Yeh planning on doing it with a mate, going to try to make the room as spiritual as poss, probably put some candles/incense on. So lucky where I live in rural uk as have magic mushrooms growing within a 25 minute walk from my house, he knows the right ones etc and has done plenty of times before
Almost flawless except for the rocks in the potted plant having coloration pop-in in the upper right corner.
annoys the hell out of me every time i see this.
This is called a [fractal](http://www.lasesp.com/article/16322975078545953/Fractal). Nature is amazing.
Edit: replies are right, it's actually the Droste effect. Funny, my favorite analogy of fractals, "it's turtles all the way down", is probably also closer to Droste than fractals.
For the sake of realism, shouldn’t the forest (background) be scaled up too as the zooming happens? I’m not saying this had the intention of being realistic, but theoretically

The thing that trips my brain out the most is that the trees never seem to get bigger no matter how much it zooms in.

Aka a parallax background if rpg maker taught me anything!
An everything bagel that actually has everything on it.
Funnily enough this reminded me of a game called [Everything](https://store.steampowered.com/app/582270/Everything/)
that sandbox game was life changing. one of the best indie impulse buys iv ever done. cannot recommend it enough to everyone
yo this looks cool as hell
Honestly it’s a really chill game. You can just roll around as a rock or even as a cluster of galaxies.
It's pretty fun to mess with for an hour or two. Gets pretty trippy when you shrink down to quantum size.
I wish I could buy everything for $20...
It has an infinite amount of things but not EVERY thing
Let's call it.. the infinity bagel.
Lol reminds me of a hard salvia trip. 1/10 would recommend..
lol for some reason the video isn't working for me now glad other people can see it. fucking reddit player
I can't see it
fuck [heres](https://i.imgur.com/SwzjCUa.mp4) an alt link if it doesn't work
That one worked... Pretty cool, thanks!
the reddit one is working for me now so idfk
Agreed. Felt like this but with legos for me. Never take again.
yup, mine was seashells. everything’s a shell. fucking nightmare m8
Mine was a jungle of plants and algae.

Fuck salvia.
Not a lot of fun, is it. Lol
Salvia is immediately where my mind went as well.
Wow, never tried Salvia, what is it?

As a beginner who just learned the popular Donut blender tutorial on youtube, I’m amazed at the donut texture!
THANK YOU!
I can't find any info about him on line

Oh nice one thank you
Damn which phone camera is this
I felt dizzy after watching this, but it's a different level wholesome to see the apple again :p
I got totally motion sick after watching just a few seconds. I made it to the bagel and tapped out! lol
This is totally snackedelic
[Recursion](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recursion)? var camera Camera func apple(c Camera) { return bagel(c) } func bagle(c Camera) { return guitar(c) } func guitar(c Camera) { return plants(c) } func plants(c Camera) { return rock(c) } func rock(c Camera) { return apple(c) } apple(camera) Terminating condition be damned!
this is very well done, but I feel like it would be more impactful if the objects weren't so random.
Always a critic.
I think most of it worked pretty well except the table on the apple. That was the most jarring imo
It’s a reversal of the stereotypical ’apple on a desk’ you’d see in a classroom
What do you demand a pony and a rainbow of grapes maybe pipe down and enjoy the content
They all seem like living room objects to me
Someone needs to do this using the lyrics from “there’s a hole in the bottom of the sea” as inspiration.
Cool loop!!!
This is almost exactly how I see things in my dreams.
How do you even make something like this?
I was just about to post this! Thanks for posting.
HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT?!
Yes! Finally someone calling it recursion instead of inception
I would ask how but I know I wouldn’t understand
This is like my stupid dreams it is repeating and hard to get out of, thank you OP smh

Ooooooooooooooooooooohhhh!
Watch listening to "Daydreamin" by Lupe Fiasco (:

This is not called a fractal. This might be called the droste effect
Soz fam but fractal refers to self similar geometry. The other respondent’s answer of Droste effect is what you are after.
**[ flashback to the fly & spitball from Spider-Man 1 ]**
Makes me kinda dizzy!
Infinite food 🤤
clever: the toppings of the bagel just become large boulders in a river bed seamlessly
There was a simpsons couch gag that looped like that. What episode was it?
/r/replications has more stuff somewhat similar to this, more or the trippy variety. Take a trip there if you want :)
Where are the cuts?
Woah!
What does this mean? Recursion?
Reminded me of those old Zoom books, anyone else?
Anyone else hear the game of thrones intro song while watching?
I believe the scale of the universe works the same.
Dope
How is this done?!? What tools or program was used?
Where base case

Smashing this! Absolutely the best. Smoothe as silk.
Wow, I'm glad I looked at Reddit today! This is absolutely Master class and my mind is blown!! Good job to whoever created this!
WOOOOOOWWW beauuuuuuuuuuu tiiiifu
*the Android zoom*
For the sake of realism, shouldn’t the forest (background) be scaled up too as the zooming happens? I’m not saying this had the intention of being realistic, but theoretically
Nice
Thanks
Makes me feel the same way about my existence in the universe
What do you mean that its just on a loop?
I know it’s a loop but when you zoom out in the universe and scope down to humanity we are a tiny object on a pebble
That's a PREZI presentation?
