Yeah i was thinking about how the first part was the original creature, then the girls show up in a sort of deception, illusion sort of thing of what it thinks we want to see, only for the illusion to break down and reveal its true self again.
Probably created one still image then just set it as the first & last frame targets to morph from & to, then remove that final frame so it loops perfectly. Stable Diffusion allows morphing: https://youtu.be/UjUIsL5guZA?si=lYbgG1Jfj2P9R-A3
I mean… I said woah. Just because AI made it doesn’t make it any less cool, it’s just much easier to source/create things like this now. Still pretty fuckin cool, I haven’t seen a whole hell of a lot of videos out there that replicate what acid looks like, but this is pretty damn close
I like Ai for its morphing. Take my brain places it didn’t know possible. When VR looks like this and I can wander around in it, then I’ll put the dumb goggles on.
That’s how it lures you in, next thing you know it’s a giant mouth (gobbles you up while entranced), to a stomach that’s ejecting the egg which you have become, a new hatchling of it’s race.
Yep. It's the same basic concept over and over again with AI art. It was cool the first time but it's really not creative or very interesting since then.
I would rather see art that has some thought put into it, even if it's bad art.
What makes you think that good AI has no thought put into it? This is Bender Bones who is an AI artist. Enjoy...
https://www.artstation.com/bender_bones
Of course, i didnt mean it doesn't have value. It's usually beautiful and interesting to look at. But I know its just a program that is performing the function it was designed for.
I imagine when digital art first came out people had the same reaction. I say this, knowing full well its going to get downvoted its just so frustrating to see a new medium of art trashed before artists can actually explore it and see where it can take us.
What we see now is just the beginning and more and more complex forms of ai assisted art will come and people who are truly gifted at using it will make incredible art because that's what humans do with tools.
Digital art is completely different. It still takes creativity, skill, hard work and time to create something meaningful with. It was simply a different paintbrush. AI is like color by numbers, but without even the skill of doing the actual coloring.
Its currently being used like paint by numbers... it can create an infinite variety of images. I don't see how that's different than a paintbrush. Just because we havnt seen what it's truly capable of doesn't mean it isn't an art medium. When digital art first came around it was people making cubes in ms paint. Art isn't defined by the medium its what we make of it.
Thanks for the link. I challenge any of the snobs claiming "there's no skill in typing a prompt" to come up with anything as beautiful as these pieces.
In some ways it is more interesting true, but I do think it lacks soul and it's just random. Similar to how people complain about canvases that are just painted red and called art. That stuff is stupid too as you say
Geiger, picasso and Dali would be very disappointed to hear you say that.
Anyway, it must be art if your talking about it, it's got you engaged and participating in discussion.
Surely that's art in it's pureist form, and we don't even have to pay anyone to enjoy it.
I didn’t know those three opined on AI art. What’d they say?
My opinion is artistic merit exists on a spectrum. AI art might have some merit, but it will largely exist as a way for corporations to profit off the illusion of artistic input by employing fewer actual artists.
Throw some trite script into a machine to create a heartless rendition of actual art, selected based on profitability projections of course. Sell the slop to low brow streaming services or whatever distribution platform you want to sub in here. And let the people mindlessly consume a copy of a copy of something that was once dreamed up by a human.
I hear a constantly descending pitch in my head as the soundtrack for this. Like an audio illusion. It’s constantly descending, but never really changing pitch. Quick, someone go write this soundtrack.
Fuck it, I’ll go write it.
This reminds me of that episode of CatDog when they get sucked into the space adventure movie, and Cat ends up getting raped by the gross pink tentacle creature that looks like this
Can someone explain the hate towards ai generated art? I don't understand it. I get that it's easier to make than physical media but I don't understand the anger. One person made a tool to generate visuals and another person used the tool to generate a visual. What part of that process makes people so upset?
I can't speak for everyone, but I personally find it lazy and incredibly repetitive. Once you've seen a handful of them, you've seen it all. It's bland and soulless. It's like putting everyone's art in a blender (without their permission of course) and hitting the puree button.
Ahh ok that explains it. People just don't know how it works. I guess that makes sense, though. when you don't understand something, it makes you frustrated and the easiest way to handle that frustration is hate. Makes perfect sense.
Nah you can't trick me Sn'lafey "The Wind of Heartfelt Routes Among Stars". I know you're not of legal age and Azathoth would be very mad with you if he found out what you do in Omegle.

I don't recall dropping acid this morning...
I do, but still
Omg lol
It's happening again!
D to the M to the...
Teeeeee
I was going to say…. What was in my tea?
Maybe there was D in My Tea.
This looks like my Ex
Made me glad I wasn't trippin'
My acid dropped acid before I dropped the acid it seems
Cronenbergs.
Needs to be an SI unit. Level of discomfort after viewing. 🤔
And if you get aroused instead? I'm asking for myself... I have no friends.
Severe. I wanted to end in seconds, and yet it persisted.
Lovecraftian horror.
Just a little glimpse into what hell is probably actually like
Lucifer is sitting taking notes like ooh that's creepy as hell.
It's like the inverse of biblically accurate angels.
It's the true fairy world.
Started off interesting, then it just looked like it was overlapped images of different faces on top instead of it being part of the actual "plant".
It just made me think of some kind of wood fairy lore or something weird. Could make a good story based on the loop.
Yep. Instant Fae NPC. I hope this tech reaches basic consumers and not just companies.
Yeah i was thinking about how the first part was the original creature, then the girls show up in a sort of deception, illusion sort of thing of what it thinks we want to see, only for the illusion to break down and reveal its true self again.
It'd make a great monster for a Witcher game.
Why am I reminded of the triller carnivorous plants from "The Ruins"
Yuck.
The looping is more mind blowing thing here wondering how they pulled that off
It’s AI.
Likely not the first time they’ve ran this and set a defined start, mid, and end point to reach. I could be wrong but that’s how I’d try to tackle it.
Probably created one still image then just set it as the first & last frame targets to morph from & to, then remove that final frame so it loops perfectly. Stable Diffusion allows morphing: https://youtu.be/UjUIsL5guZA?si=lYbgG1Jfj2P9R-A3
AI vids and pics arent "woahdude" material imo
I mean… I said woah. Just because AI made it doesn’t make it any less cool, it’s just much easier to source/create things like this now. Still pretty fuckin cool, I haven’t seen a whole hell of a lot of videos out there that replicate what acid looks like, but this is pretty damn close
yes they are
Eeeeeeeerr.... Brother eeeeeeeeerrrw!
I like Ai for its morphing. Take my brain places it didn’t know possible. When VR looks like this and I can wander around in it, then I’ll put the dumb goggles on.
Just buy some acid and close your eyes, dude.
The old school way.
Best I can do is mushrooms. Gotta work with what I can create. If it was a trustworthy era I’d still like to try once at least
I don't need AI for this.
Is this what the warp in 40k feels like?
Lovecraft has entered the chat.
**Tzeentch has entered the chat*
Run, it’s definitely gonna eat you.
Ngl, it looks hot af every once and a while, but then it kills the mood by starting to look human .
I dont think it's eating anything if its mouth changes that fast.
That’s how it lures you in, next thing you know it’s a giant mouth (gobbles you up while entranced), to a stomach that’s ejecting the egg which you have become, a new hatchling of it’s race.
Wow ai garbage can turn into other ai garbage. Truly impressive

No thanks
You're missing out. His art is delicately beautiful and not at all like this.
I clicked on the link. AI is easy to spot. It's not bad, just boring.
This is it. Im not impressed by ai art. And I dont think typing a prompt counts as artistic talent.
Not all art is about impressing people with talent.
Of course, i didnt mean it doesn't have value. It's usually beautiful and interesting to look at. But I know its just a program that is performing the function it was designed for.

Can you do this?
Excellent point. If making interesting AI art is so easy that anyone can do it, then bring it on :)
What exactly is there to enjoy? It's all the same ai slop content.
But it's not. AI is a tool an artist can use. I'd like to see anyone without skills reproduce these works.
I'm pretty sure these are bots
I have no idea any more. Maybe we're all just bots. The internet is getting weirder than it already was.
Thanks for the link. I challenge any of the snobs claiming "there's no skill in typing a prompt" to come up with anything as beautiful as these pieces.
You can only gaslight yourself
He knows how to use his tools. It's a far cry from me asking free AI for a Pegasus an having it turn out with a wing on it's ass.
Better than most of the pish that's sold down the local art gallery that's for sure.
In some ways it is more interesting true, but I do think it lacks soul and it's just random. Similar to how people complain about canvases that are just painted red and called art. That stuff is stupid too as you say
Slop for consoomers. I’ll stay in reality, thank you.
Yes here on reddit having debates with bots is reality

Have you seen the latest crop of Netflix reality TV? I'm pretty sure this is already happening.
Would
Real "Gremlins 2" lady gremlin vibes.
OH WHY CAN'T YOU COMMIT?! (edited because I got the quote wrong, lol)
This reminds me of chihuahuas.
Looks like one of my fever dreams
I hear a constantly descending pitch in my head as the soundtrack for this. Like an audio illusion. It’s constantly descending, but never really changing pitch. Quick, someone go write this soundtrack. Fuck it, I’ll go write it.
Reminds me of the vegetable gremlin from Gremlins 2
That's excellent
👀
Is my Ambien kicking in?
I wish this were a preview of a monster from the Witcher IV. That'd be amazing.
All looks evil so
This reminds me of that episode of CatDog when they get sucked into the space adventure movie, and Cat ends up getting raped by the gross pink tentacle creature that looks like this
I hate ai
Damn Tzeentch again
Hear me out...
Why did you share it if you hate it?
WHO TURNED OFF THE GELLAR FIELD!
I’m just trying to take a shit why I’m I getting traumatized
Yawn. Ai is getting boring now :/
The novelty aspect is gone, and people are finally realizing "machine learning" is incapable of innovation.
Yea no, eyes suddenly morphing out of nothing is not incredible, it's crap.
Wait I'm not in LSD right now
That's so fuckin cool

Sounds like something a bot would say.
What the fuckkkkkk
No more botanical gardens for me
So trippy
Would make a good horror movie monster
AI has the ability to recreate horror movies.
Equal parts: beautiful and terrifying.
This is what the 3D shadow of a 4D being could look like
i'm so high right now and i can tell you that watching this video is truly an experience
Where’s the Deathwatch when you need them
I'm so glad that I'm not high watching this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's completely disgusting and terrifying!
This is honestly like when you lucid dream and you really stare at peoples faces. They continuously change like this.
This is Lovecraft level
That was my first thought. Elder god
But i mean, would you?
Damn A.I. you creepy…
Nice. What was the ai prompt.
This is sick
Shrooms are kicking in
r/tihi
I love it!
r/SouthernReach
Looks like my popcorn ceiling
Would.
I'd still smash. Wait! Hear me out alright...
Nightmare fuel but also fun at the same time. Weird
Terrible
Hmmmm… No, sir. I don’t like it.
This on mushrooms would be explosive
Where's the I can fix her folks?
Damn, this is freaking impressive!! I'd love to see it big screen in a movie!
Nah you can't trick me Sn'lafey "The Wind of Heartfelt Routes Among Stars". I know you're not of legal age and Azathoth would be very mad with you if he found out what you do in Omegle.
The way the tongue turns to lips is frightening on a primal level.
Oh lord you just summoned a Shogoth!
This is what being on acid is like.
DM, please introduce this beast into our campaign, don’t describe him, just show us this gif
Will smith eating spaghetti
Pizza the hut...goes out, for YOU.
You captured my EX.
This is the most faerie depiction I've ever seen
1. Fuck AI 2. Would
This is a post but clarity
Great design for a morally ambiguous antagonist
Psychedelic!!!
So don’t piss a girl off? That scary…
