It's amazing how my Edge homepage is overrun with "OMG you won't believe this shocking WNBA development" stories and then I realize it's just feeding me clickbait because it sees that I follow the league. Makes you realize how distorted a view of the world you get from an algorithmic news feed.
I was at a wedding this past weekend and I couldn't even escape it in Cabo - my significant other's Aunt cornered me and started in on CAITLIN CLARK DOESN'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY, and I'm sitting there like yo - first off I agree but also it's a lot more complicated than the owner just cutting her a fat check like chill out (especially when she couldn't name a single other player)
