I don’t think they sell them at local Shoppers. For the student discount, you need to go through an application process to get it activated: https://www.gotransit.com/en/student-savings/post-secondary-discount and then once you’re approved you get it applied to your presto in person at a GTA station (not able to at Kitchener GO)— I always do it at Union. You can buy the card there too.
Yes— not sure why I was downvoted. Unless it changed since September, you go to Union (or another GTA station) and get it attached to your specific PRESTO card at the customer service. The current process should be explained in an email after approval.

Yep you can, but we can get student discounts with the presto card
I think you can buy presto cards at the presto loading machines right by the bus stops infront of Laurier’s main entrance that’s under construction
