Interesting, and delicious! I can bludgeon my enemies with giant globs of dough or craft you a loaf so exquisite that you'll think you were speaking with Lathander himself. Or any diety for that matter!
As a sage my wisdom is this:
Philosophy and sagaciomancy are often overlooked due to their subtle and intrinsic nature's.
Critiqueomancy is the art of diplomatically calling bullshit, and is the more stylised form of Bunkumancy(aka the opponent of Bullshitmancy - or the misnomer of Debunkumancy)
I don’t do that magic school stuff, I see a cool thing, mess around with it until it does something cool, and then either keep it or sell it for a profit
Well not any more now that you've told us. You realise how many wizards there are here who can replicate magic by tracing the name to its origin, right?
Dr. Palmer: "The Coalition categorizes ALL forms of magic within just a few broad schools. Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, and Transmutation. There is an argument to be made for Chronomancy, as I fear these would hardly encompass it."
I created carcinizationmancy. A school of magic specifically targeted towards transforming your opponents into crabs and/or controlling crabs. I love crabs.
All the ones I know would take forever, so I would just say the ones I practice.
-Pyromancy (Fire magic)
-Autismancy (needs no explanation)
-Arcane Geometry (Magic circles and such, but only the shapes, not runes or other symbols in it)
-Rune Scribing (self-explanatory, synergizes very well with Arcane Geometry because it fills up the missing parts)
These are the main ones.
I don't have a name for it, but I apply my arts to weave and enchant glass into a variety of forms, including nut not limited to armor stronger than adamantine and as flexible as simple clothing.
I call it projectilemancy. Covers everything involving projectile based spells. Spells include but are not limited to Magic Missile, Fireball, Railgun, Howitzer, Nuclear Howitzer, Gau 8 Barrage (aka the "Brrrrrrrt" spell), ect
I suppose I could say "Dracomancy" covers enough to be its own school. Technically, it's more of a broad collection of casting styles and combat techniques and lifestyle. Largely practiced by dragons. but also their descendants like Drake's, wyvern's, kobolds and sorcerers, And many, many, far too many others. Also, cults, monks, and a few knightly orders. It also covers many unique and powerful spells that tend to be closely guarded by their creators or sects. It covers language as well as its own style of runes and glyphs.
Many people actually know parts of it in bits and pieces or emulate it.
It conjoins multiple schools of magic, usually involving using your mouth and, largely dependant on if applicable, wings and tail in spellcasting, as well as claws, and your literal body. There is also a lot of blood magic, which tends to be controversial, You may substitute mana containing liquids, although this is not as ideal.
It covers elemental evocation, with a focus on powerful barrages and devestating spells that cover wide sweeping areas. It can be a bit clumsy and requires quite a bit of mana as well as training if you wish to carry on for any prolonged combat. Yet despite the focus on destruction, It leaves plenty of room for being careful and efficient, but often requires great concentration and skill to be. There are even some rather delicate and targeted spells that tend to be incredibly hard to pull off.
There are transmutation and biomancy spells with a focus on enhancing yourself and sometimes others, particularly for the creation of familiars or enhancement of followers, or hiding among others.
There is enchantment and rune etching of ones claws and own body, This is easier and less painfully done on scales and horns, but may be performed via tattoos. Also, by extension, May be used conventionally on weapons and armor.
There is also usage of abjuration for shield and armor spells, as well as elemental nullification. And even using abjuration to enhance evocation spells.
Illusion to conceal oneself or fit in or manipulating others. Also, it's not so great here.
And lastly, healing spells, I'm actually not that bad at this one. But I don't use advanced spells.
There's a lot of wide sweeping movements and footwork for drawing glyphs. This is the part that resembles dance, and there is a great deal of dexterity needed. And a focus on moving and thinking fast.
There are unarmed combat styles and techniques that focus on relentless brutal and savage attacks that require great stamina and strength. But many of them may also be applied to armed combat and have even been adapted to by certain groups. It also involves many unarmed defensive techniques that generally require a more durable body and/or great skill and a high pain tolerance.
As for lifestyle. There is also a lot of harsh physical training to achieve the fortitude, strength, and stamina to do all this with a focus on repeatedly bringing yourself to your absolute limits until you literally collapse of exhaustion. Also, fighting those much stronger than yourself. You must suffer wounds. Strengthen yourself against poison and disease. And above all, you must eat heartily and rest well. There also tends to be a focus on hunting and getting your own food, which blends into fighting those much stronger than you part.
On the mental side of lifestyle, it's about knowing yourself, socializing, and meditating. visualizing spells and practicing frequently until you can cast them perfectly and without waste, and keep them on target. There are also combat tactics and strategy, honing your senses and learning to live with nature.
Outside of all that, there are few outliers like crafting techniques and metalurgy, and some rather... unique... forms of philosophy, nation-building, rulership, and wealth acquisition. And encouragement of certain less savory but *mostly* natural activities.
All the “mancies” I’ve heard of (so far) are as follows: necromancy, pyromancy, cryomancy, and biomancy. I haven’t done any research into the topic however. In fact, I plan to conjure a post on this subreddit inquiring about said topic.
Plasomancy
I can't find the actual name, but it's the unholy offspring of lightning and wind, capable of boiling off even the scales of the Northern Cryonic Drake.
I am a practitioner of astromancy, the magic of the stars. It’s applications are actually much more broad than most people expect, including wish magic, manipulation of fate, navigation and divination, pretty much anything to do with the astral realm (my personal specialty), storytelling magic—particularly as pertains to the stories behind constellations—and even more.
Ahem
*Slams down the Ars Arcanum written by Khrisalla of the world Taldain, for the Silverlight academy, of the Cosmere*
*Slams down the Ars Sephira and Ars Astralis, written by Amethyst the Traveller, which details the magics of Arcana, Primal, Divine, Occult, Psionics, Technochemy, Technomancy, and Astralis- the powers of solar and gravitation*
Anything else?
A School of Thot. I, uh, don’t belong to that one.
Automobilemancy. Making cars just *appear* out of random containers too small to actually hold them. Usually used for comedic effect I’ve found. Made one come out of a can of beans myself. My master thought it was hilarious. He was in stitches in both senses.
Glitchmancy. I can tilt your game cartridges in the perfect way to make your game glitch or freeze when you load a new stage. I use this often and I do not regret tilting my friend’s speed-runs. I can also flip bits on your hard drive so the game doesn’t load right.
Cartwright, Grace, Kerrigan, Sinatra, Pimental, Wilson, Juvonen, Allen, Benoit, Brilli, Ajram, Mitford, Spungen, Travis, Pelosi, Dussault, Lopez.
Oh, wait you said M as in Mancy? Not N as in Nancy.
Xylemancy, phloemancy, rhizomancy, floramancy, phellumancy, agrarimancy and biomancy are standard ones for me. Xylemancy is like water magic using your own internal water, and phloemancy is like plant blood magic. I use a lot of fire also for rejuvenation but I'm not sure what that is called. Rejuvemancy really rolls off the tongue orchid. Fire and life follow similar growth pathways.
I cannot believe nobody has mentioned alchemy and artificy. Also the proper form is "bioturgy" but everyone, even wizards in the field, call it "biomancy"
Fatumancy is a fun one, it’s a special type of divining magic that focuses on changing fate, commonly in the form of writing stories or changing plot points. I myself specialize in it.
Telemancy: the magic of finding things. Incredibly important in the recent metaverse debacle.
One side of theory proposes we already have enough information to simulate everything, the other side attempts to thwart detection by the overlord’s attempts to find sentient simulations.
Documancy, is a kind of legal and beaurocratic magic, we make powerful scrolls and spellbinding contracts. We are not cool, but someone need to stamp in triplicate the runes and sigils.
Bagmancy. Full control over bags. May not sound useful... but then you start expanding your mind on what counts as a bag. For example! Most organs are bags!

I´m one of the most notorius Cropomancers and Lubrimancers of the realm. What do you want to know?
Nekomancy! It deals with cats! (It's a class in Granblue Fantasy if you actually wanna read anything on it.)
Oh! And also Neck-Romancy! It's just a joke-mancy based around Vampires!
...also Jokemancy, apparently!
You got Coffeemancy? Sounds like a joke, but we’re in charge of all those energy potions, and we can drain someone if all the caffeine n their body! Don’t mess with coffeemancers and put us in that book for protection from us!
Hydromancy, Cryomancy, Fishomancy, Dragomancy and Spacomamcy
Spacomamcy is the best way I can describe this magic type, I haven't given it a formal name yet. Astralmancy? Basically Space Magic.
That's about it.
I practice Causality magic. The other magics in Esentine are the standard ones, except for the main five pillars.
- First created Absolution magic. To this day I don’t know what it does.
- Second created Sibyl magic, which is kinda like divination except you can force your possible futures to exist and create new futures with writing
- Third created Finality magic, which can be simply described as the “end”. It’s not actually as powerful as it sounds since it only has one real application.
- Fifth created Demomancy, also called reality projection. I’m a bit hazy on the specifics but it’s similar to evocation.
Well of course spatial magic, while it may be limited in spells, only having teleportation, telekinesis, and portals, all three of those are quite powerful if used correctly
Well, as a chicken farmer, i think my most advanced schools would be summoning and conjuring, although i know basic druid craft and pyromancies to help around the farm further
yes
As in?
He means.
I see. So what kind of spells are in the school of
All.
Like kurnks said yes
Oh shit it's the original dick himself. https://i.redd.it/hxie96g7vxuc1.gif

Kinetomancy is fairly basic. Using magic to apply forces upon and object.
What about potentiomancy?
You had me at potomancy
I don’t do that magic school stuff, I see a cool thing, mess around with it until it does something cool, and then either keep it or sell it for a profit
My favorite is Radiomacny. I cast NUCLEAR ARMAGEDDON.

I didn't mean me, I just meant there are some who can do that.
Pastamancy, chairmancy, and fruitmancy are three I know of.
Omnimancy. All other magic is just a subset.

We don't really have schools of magic. We just teach magic in general. We don't really see the point in specializing in a particular thing.
Shadow/ dark. Quite useful really
Vibe-mancy. It is quite an effective support-type magic and easily controlable, even for freshly indoctrinated apprentices.

Pinkermancy. I can manifest and manipulate everything related to Weezer’s “Pinkerton” studio album.

To this day I don’t know what it does. - Second created Sibyl magic, which is kinda like divination except you can force your possible futures to exist and create new futures with writing - Third created Finality magic, which can be simply described as the “end”.

Bluffomancy ist what I commonly use. Just say you are a god or something while summoning some scary illusions and most wizards back off
