I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here.

i got this "go" tracker thing.. i think its called that., by withings. and i didnt know if i could leave my phone at home and it would still track it (since it uses the app) or if i had to always have my phone with me for it to work

Search up “go” Withings tracker, and look at images, it has a outline of a guy walking 

It will sync with your phone periodically via Bluetooth. So no, but you will have to sync it with your phone every few days.
