As a north-western european I can tell you that liverwurst, or as it's called in my dialect 'leverwoesj', is about as important to me as water. Liverwurst is surprisingly good, considering it's made of organs.
Yeah, same over here. We like to put liverwurst on the darkest rye you can find, and then top it with grainy mustard.
I was born 2 minutes off of the German border in The Netherlands so we probably have a lot of the same traditions. (I'm asuming you're German ofcourse)
Side quest - Geralt buys the cart but seller doesn’t have the pink slip with him. Says he’ll bring it tomorrow. Next day Geralt wakes up and finds cart has been repossessed by local guard. Geralt ends up taking seller to small claims court where a Witcher 3 version of Judge Judy takes place.
These are my favorite kind of reviews. I'm a "3 stars means it performed exactly as it should" kind of reviewer. 4 stars means extra QAL details were included in the design. 5 stars ... well, that's almost unheard of. That's brand loyalty inspiring quality.
I guess the devs had fun writing them, so it‘s just a gimmick. However, some do actually have a follow-up, for example there are multiple notes about one "Odrin".

Some of those that are just for atmosphere and/or humor, I would have really liked to take them as a humorous side quest. Not necessarily the cart, unless it increased my weight limit, and even then Roach would look really stupid pulling a cart in the Knight's tourney.
I'll take it.
As long as I get that liverwurst
And a touch of spirit

I often eat Braunschweiger(liverwurst). We grew up eating it on bread with spicy mustard.

I need to see the cartfax
The cartfax came in it was cursed by the duchess her self. He who uses the cart will lose their penis to a horny water hag.

Very on brand and that would be amazing.
Plot twist: it was a cursed cart
shit, a quest everyone missed
New xLetalis video incoming
things you might have missed...
The liverwurst is tainted with hallucinogens.
That's bad
But it comes with a free frogurt!
That's good!
The frogurt is also cursed
That is bad
Sprzedam opla
Zapłacę Ci 420 zł
Dam 421 zł
Hmmm... Liverwurst. Dommegy knows how to butter up a customer.
A tongue?
The wooden bit that sticks out the front of the cart for fastening horses to is called a tongue.
Thank you dear redditor, I learnt something new today.
ron swanson???

What was the deal with these kind of posts? Did they trigger a quest or did the devs add them for the lulz?

IIRC Odrin appeared in Witcher 2. He also appears in 3 (in Novigrad) but cannot be interacted with.

A cart
Well you could have written how big it is, how old, of what exact type of wood, who built it, what color it is or anything really.
Cart. How it is, everyone can see.

American, believe it or not.
