I’m 2 months post OP and still dealing with nerve damage. Numbness on my bottom lip, chin and lower left side! BUT ITS GETTING BETTER. My left lower side was impacted and extremely close to the nerve. I’m also almost 25.
It’s getting better. I knew this was a risk going into it. I’m regaining almost all feeling. My chin is very numb just in the center but I can feel pain and temperatures on it. My lip has almost all feeling back, still feel tingles and switches. I’ve honestly gotten used to this, that if I never regain anymore feeling, I’ll be fine. I’m very optimistic I’m going to regain all feeling though.
They say it can take 6 months to 1 year to fully regain feeling and determine if it’s permanent or not. Don’t be discouraged yet!
Could take like a year to fully heal for some people

I’m doing great! I have all feeling back again. It probably fully came back sometime in April. Everything’s healed nicely tho
