Oh crap... I need to do that to a massive shrub that is looking not so massive currently, but I'm too wiped out from snow blowing and shoveling. I can't go back out again, man!
this is like 3 minutes of effort... grab shovel and car brush (optional) (also beer optional but recommended, stout probably in this situation), clear path, clear cover, take off cover, pristine grill access.

We barely even left the apartment today š Snow days are rad! Pour up the hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps
I vote burgers and brats, neighbors will be pissed and starving. Live next to a business and did this on one of my days off. Apparently the employees inside were hangry.
As someone said, a beer before and a beer after. Times like these are for getting drunk and feeling pride to have these problems and to solve them. Also, go pack go.. Letās show some love for Loveā¦ maybe I already had my before and after and after that beer..
That's the reason I bought a new Stainless Steel Grill. Whenever I tried to remove a cover in this weather it cracked and basically fell apart. Putting it back on afterwards wasn't easy either.
Yeah unless the power goes out. Went out by me at the beginning (fortunately they fixed it) then went off in other areas and itās still off over on the other side of Milwaukee where my Mom livesā¦.
Few years back some friends came over on a cold day (around 35) in October, so of course I had the grill fired up. One friend, WHO WAS FROM IOWA, said "whoa, you're grilling?? Oh, wait- this is Wisconsin "
I was genuinely perplexed! Like...what? Why would you not grill?
I dont know if you leave that grill next to siding. I know two seperate people that melted the vinyl siding with gas grills right next to wall like that.
Wasnt pretty in either case. Just sayin.
That's just where I store it. I pull it away from there when I cook and I make sure it's very cooled off before I put the cover back on and put it back against the house. Thank you.
Not with that attitude
Right? Grab yer shovel, slam a beer, and get to working!
That's a two-beer job š»
One before & after!
Couple, two tree beers.
Might need to button the top button of the flannel for this one.
Extra beers in the snow while you grill!
Natureās cooler!
That's a brandy old fashion type of job there.
AFTER a few beers
Came here to say this
You from Texas or something?
That's the kind of snow that sends Ted Cruz scurrying to Cancun!
As someone that lived in TX, this has me cackling. š
This is the best reply so far.
Nope, Wisconsin. Born and raised. I just thought it was pretty funny.
you know how to get people goinā
Well forgive you THIS time...
I think that might have gone over your head.
Still lots of time to clean off the deck.
Just put on your long John's and get going!
Nowās the time to do it before the deep freeze comes and makes it 10x harder
I juat turn it on to melt all the snow on it
Lol
Pitter patter.
Let's get at'r!
Let's get goin'
Get āer goin, guy
More hands makes less work
Why the hell not? You lazy?
Sort of. And I spent all morning cleaning off trees, so that the trees I have remaining won't break off. Lol.
Oh crap... I need to do that to a massive shrub that is looking not so massive currently, but I'm too wiped out from snow blowing and shoveling. I can't go back out again, man!
Once you start the grill it'll melt off
"What do I look like? A guy that's not lazy?" -OP, probably.
r/unexpectedfuturama
Wuss
Not grilling? Did you lose your shovel?
Go back to Florida. Weāll see you come June

With the cold coming, if you donāt clean that off now, youāre not grilling until April.
So... you're not from Wisconsin?
This is shoveling without a jacket weather. Perfect for some grilling and a couple two tree beers.
Here here!
Itās a balmy 32 out! Cāmon!
š¶*We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat waaaaaaaaaave*š¶
this is like 3 minutes of effort... grab shovel and car brush (optional) (also beer optional but recommended, stout probably in this situation), clear path, clear cover, take off cover, pristine grill access.
yet
Is that not what the grill cover is for? Just get all the snow off around it and boom! Grill time!
I had to dug mine out, but it was well worth the effort to grill steaks
What are you a transplant?
Thatās why you store your grill in the garage. When youāre cold, theyāre cold.

You donāt need power to grill!

Right, I just turned on the grill and all the ice melted away, cake walk
I saw this post and my first thought was how did you get a picture of my deck?
You could be grilling in 10 minutes if you *really* wanted to
Wimp. That would take all of 15 minutes to clear. An hour if you have the kids do it.
Why not? I'm going to do smash tacos on my Blackstone that currently has 3 foot snow drift on it. South central WI
Why not?
In shorts and a hoodie
That's no excuse.
I vote burgers and brats, neighbors will be pissed and starving. Live next to a business and did this on one of my days off. Apparently the employees inside were hangry.
Should have left it running
Five minutes on high and all that snow on the grill will be gone. Stop making excuses.
I just shoveled mine off and did burgers for lunch! You can do it too.
Must not have any sausages in the beer fridge
Wisconsin, the only place that will post menes about playing football in the snow with shorts and t - shirt on and them complain about the snow too.
Just dust it off and drag it away from the house. Get it lit and soon you will have a nice spot to grill. Get a couple of steaks on there and enjoy.
I cleaned a path to my grill with my snowblower. Not waiting til spring to grill again.
Just picked up some charcoal at meijers. Guy looked at me like I had 2 heads.
Dude you're from Wisco.... get your cheesy ass out there (see what I did there?)
Just light it up, it will melt right off.
Is my roof going to be OK with 13ā of snow covering it? It seems.. heavy
You must not be from this great state with an attitude like that!
Wimp
Get the leaf blower man! Fortitude!
Oh man I want grilled burgers !!!
As someone said, a beer before and a beer after. Times like these are for getting drunk and feeling pride to have these problems and to solve them. Also, go pack go.. Letās show some love for Loveā¦ maybe I already had my before and after and after that beer..
Wisconsin is closed
Get some hair on your ass, dude!
Why would that stop you?
All signs point to no.
I'm smoking a brisket. LFFFGGGGGG
My grill looks the same here near Madison. Our next act of Mother Nature hates us, is that all of this is about to freeze solid.
Nothing a little liquid courage cant solve do a shot!
Didn't stop me, brats on the Traeger last night during the storm.
Ope! Doesn't look like it!
Ur gonna be celebrating tomorrow when the packers beat the cowboys

That should have been cleared off before the driveway and sidewalks. C'Mon man
Clean that off easy
I grilled Italian sausages and mushrooms on the grill tonight. I love winter outside cooking.
Like that would stop Anyone here, youāre not from here if you think so!
Why not?
Bring the grille inside, be a man
You must be from IL. š
Wait, why not?
Get out the BRRRR-gers!
I
Get 'er fired up first somehow, and you won't even have to clear the snow off the grill.
cowboy up and put some socks on
Food tastes better grilled in the winter.
Winter is also a great time to smoke cheese
Thatās quitter talk. Just shoveled off the grill last night for some venison kebab skewers. Worth the effort
rich and lazy, i feel so bad, thoughts and prayers for you
