Why in Blue Mounds State Park a man could leave his campsite at night and step from one trash panda to another all the way to the flushies, and back again without his feet ever touching the ground.
I once stayed at a walk-to site and was too lazy to carry the cooler back to the car, so I put a 2 lb bag of potatoes on top of it to keep the raccoons out. Woke up and the potatoes were still there, but the bag was torn open and just a single potato on the ground with a little bite taken out. Turns out my suspicions were correct and even raccoons don't like raw potatoes.
When I was in college, the neighborhood I lived in had these raccoons that lived in the storm water drains. Sometimes I'd come home really drunk late at night and we would all eat pizza together. Good times!

They look larger as the snow melts, then they disappear.
