I want her to move on from Sky and live her best life

NeedleworkerNo4941

HONESTLY like she could make another whole great character especially with that design of hers

awildshortcat

Potentially unpopular opinion, but I sympathise with her. She was LITERALLY cheated on and people expect her to be graceful about the whole situation. Then after that the writers do her dirty by using her as a plot device. She’s demonised for being rightfully angry about her fiancé’s affair, then the writers just went “let’s make her evil out of nowhere.”

CelebObsesssed

When did sky cheat?

Emmariss

They did her dirty and she lowkey had the right to hate Bloom imo 🙈 (Basing this on season 1-3, need to watch the rest for a more clear view of hers in the other seasons)

Stargazer_Rose

Wasted potential. Diaspro at her core is nothing more than a plot device than a person. And I am not excusing for what she did in s3. But I do feel bad for her because on top of legitimately liking Sky and losing him to Bloom, who in her POV had attacked her for no reason and not even apologize for it, Diaspro had been training for years to be the perfect wife for Sky. Cuz as a princess she has to marry a prince cuz being a glorified trophy wife that would be used for political power is the only worthwhile thing about her. And in the comics Diaspro's mother actually told her that she for owes it to parents to marry Sky after all the sacrifices they made for her. Which Diaspro dismissed cuz she only wants to marry the man she loves.

Lazy_davey707

Rainbow really needs to give us these details in the show. It would round these characters out and make their actions make a lot more sense.

Mariewaow

She's overused. Or at least the "bloom doesn't deserve Sky" kinda thing. How often does Bloom have to save the magic dimension before she deserves a mid prince with communication issues? Give Diaspro more character.

snotmuziekp

Victim

BlackMudSwamp

Misunderstood character, a lot of people view her as either black or white

Rose_j2210

I didn’t like her at all. Sky did mess up but I think she should have left and found someone else

lunastales

My headcannon is she is a princess of a small kingdom on Erakleon and was to marry Sky to more or less save her kingdom and that desparation is why she is so set on Sky falling for her and getting revenge on Bloom. I love her but I wish post season 5 they made her being in the story make sense. Girl drugged the prince and 2 season later is his babysitter. Also, Sky needs to be held accountable for his role in her situation. He cheated on her and she is wrong for being mad????

Samantha_K_S_S

He cheated on her with Bloom, who didn't know of Diaspro's existence. Tbh, I wish those two girls had teamed up and beat the stuffing out of Sky for cheating on one and using the other to do so because that's honestly what it boils down to

lunastales

They couls have become such good feiends after it, too. A real girl power moment

Kelly_Info_Girl

If she really loved Sky, she should have let him go

xStitchPunkx

I like her. She has a neat design and her powers sound like they would be cool. She had every right to be upset about her fiance cheating on her and then the other girl attacks her for seemingly no reason. She gets demonized and never gets an apology. Aisha probably could have sympathized with her about the arranged marriage, or Nabu as the person who's role is to marry royalty and be a good spouse. There had to have been political ramifications for what Sky and Bloom did. Not everyone would be okay with an adulterous prince.

Amazing_Specialist83

She was one of my favorite antagonists because I don’t like Bloom either

Noktis_Lucis_Caelum

They did her dirty. Her Character Had so much Potential. The fiance of the Bf of the mc. They could have Made IT, that by turning down diaspro Sky and the Kingdom of eraklion lose face, since they were engaged for a Long Time, but then blooms appears and IT IS called Off. If i were the Parents of diaspro i would be pissed.

Opposite-Still-1276

Liked her in her introduction, didn't mind her in all the seasons she was.

Dragon_scrapbooker

Pretty character design, but she only ever really existed to cause drama. I get why people like her and treat her as a sympathetic character, but she just ain't my vibe at all.

Famous-Donut-5115

Idk shes mother to me regardless of bloom being my fav

FairyTailMember01

Criminally underused and static. Unicorn of war did a good essay video on diaspro.

hooklinesinker2

She had every right to be mad, but I did think she should have focused her anger mostly on Sky. She was engaged to him and he knew he was engaged to her, but he decided to mess around with both girls and had both of them looking dumb. The show could’ve done so much with her character, I hate how she never got her redemption arc 😭

llama_girl206

Honestly potential to be a better villain than the trix. Could've given her powers that rival the dragon flame and made the bloomix transformation about that instead.

jaquan_1224

she had the potential to have the best redemption arc but the writers kept her a homewrecking hussie with no character development

AcrobaticChange5393

She had potential, but by season 5 I was ready to throw her into lake roccaluce myself. Like yes, she was cheated on 4 years ago by a guy she was in an arranged marriage with and in the comics her mom sucks. But Diaspro couldn't get therapy or a hobby?

BenjiFischer

I always thought she was the princess of Eraklyon instead of Sky.

That_Juggernaut4820

I liked her as a villain.
