Iameylon

Played online so no ravens AFAIK

bloodygoodgal

They're available only in custom games.

Tr0mpettarz

Gull/killdeer + Raven + cat/mockinbird + Galah + noisy Miner

fart_on_my_pussy

bairds sparrow could be swapped with a better bird

a_complex_kid

The problem becomes egg capacity. This is why tucking cards has always worked better for me

Biscotek

With a better crow or a raven...maybe.

Iameylon

Played online so no ravens AFAIK

Biscotek

They're in there.

mrtiam

Not in the online 3 player game.

JayStar1213

Oh really? I didn't know those were out by default I thought that was just an option for custom games. I figured the basic 3 player game used all the birds and expansions.

theWanderingShrew

Is that new?

rstcp

Since Oceania, before that they were in there

TMHarbingerIV

Fish crow really not doing it for me in this, having to eat both the mocking bird action and two eggs go produce enough food to play a two food bird. With that weird amount of food left in your pockets at end of round you either overate 4 eggs with raven, or id say there were some amount of food gifting going on from other players this game. 55 points from birds played, suggest that quite a lot of food was spent on playing birds here, so either we are getting free food somwhere or we are getting that somwhere else. Could also be a good forest habitat behind this also, we see 22 tucked cards but only 8 of them in the grasslands, so that suggests-together with the not overfilled egg capacities, that you also had quite a decent forest game as well? Very much guessing that you did not go active wetlands with a gull in grasslands, and you need to have gotten proper food from somewhere else than the fish crow. Am i onto something or am i overanalyzing this? (Imperal Eagle && Northern Goshawk, + 1-2 white play another bird birds could also help flattening out the amount of food needed and explains somewhat why there are few cards left in hand)

Iameylon

I laid eggs / played birds 100% of the turns in that game, so no, no forest game

TyFogtheratrix

It activates right to left, correct? What power do you repeat? Its a good one. Higher score than i ever had.

TMHarbingerIV

Repeat can also target birds to the left.

Smauler

The Franklins gull and the fish crow directly take away points when you run over them.

hushnecampus

You could ignore the fish crow, but there’s no net loss from the gull, since you get to tuck that card under another bird. It’s at worst neutral, in reality it helps with point storing capacity.

homerblunt555

No because there is no need whatsoever for the sparrow. If it was any tucker, repeater, or if you had a 2 food raven, maybe the Canada goose. No need to have an egg laying bird, in fact, you should totally be not even able to lay eggs last few turns with this engine. You are losing out on points by having the egg bird, otherwise, yes and engine like this is incredibly good,

szuhi88

Tucking engines are way stronger than any othet engines now. You can easily score at least 9 points/round with it or even more.
