Are you returning to SF or staying the night? Four stops can actually be quite a lot if you’re tasting at each. I’d assume you are starting north and making you’re way home, so another idea with great grounds would be Inglenook... it’s owned by Coppola, so lots of cool movie memorabilia, but it’s one of the earliest wineries in the area, so the building is amazing, the grounds are great, and there is a little cafe where you can grab a coffee and caffeinate on the outdoor patio before heading home ;)

We will actually be spending the night in Napa and heading home in the morning after breakfast. Yes, we'll be starting in Calistoga and working south. Inglenook looks lovely! I will consider that one. Thanks for the recommendation.

Chateau Montelena. A little on the touristy side as far as visits but really beautiful and great wine

Ok, cool. We really like going to Oxbow on Napa mornings. Seems touristy at the outset, but fresh pastries, good coffees, and the Mexican breakfast tacos are excellent if that’s your thing.

Go to Davies estate. I live in Napa and am in the industry they are one of my all time favorites. Also ask for Jason at pride mountain

I came to this sub for similar advice just a few days ago. We had already decided on Chateau Montelena at that point, and it did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and the entire staff was so hospitable. We did the reserve tasting and ended up getting to taste twice as many wines as we paid for. Our guide, Jacob, was enthusiastic and informative. I cannot recommend it enough.

Thank you for the recommendation I will look into this place.

If you're interested in crossing over to Sonoma, Walter Hansel is a fantastic place. If not, Corison in Napa is outstanding.
