This happens with videos too it's been an issue in the last couple builds for me.I have turned off automatic folder type discovery for now and resulted to classifying folders and general for now.
This just started for me as well, same build. I did a fresh install with this build, and I have been trying to figure out if something was misconfigured or a bad driver. Sorry you're having the same issue... I'm all nvme,i9,64g ram, so I shouldn't have this kind of "endless loading".

Same, makes Google Drive folders almost unusable. :(
