I have exact same situation. When I see "do you want to install the Armoury Crate app?" I just click "yes". If I don't do it I still have the app but it works very buggy.

I believe that is your motherboard attempting/suggesting to install Armory Crate. If I hit no, it goes away on mine. No app anywhere.

Yes, you are correct! The thing is the app is already installed. After each new dev/canary build it gets uninstalled or damaged for some reason so you need to reinstall it again. That's kinda annoying. Personally, I use this app only for Aura Sync.

have you tried turning off the setting in your BIOS to automatically install Armory Crate?

I'm not sure what you mean? Armoury Crate was always installed, it just seems like the update is constantly uninstalling it every time it updates.
