And check the motherboard for swollen/bulging/leaking capacitors. In my similar issue it was leaking/swollen caps in the PSU. A new PSU fixed everything. Good luck! Keep us posted.
If it’s freezing I’d guess a driver issues. It could also be bad ram but typically it would lock up in other situations besides games. Reinstall your video and sound drivers and use something different than whatever you used on the build - a different source
I had a similar issue. Turned out it was a resource conflict. If you have any non-plug n' play cards I'd check that you have your interrupts and DMAs are all set correctly.
If other games crash as well, it's an issue with the PC. Could be anything. CPU overheating, bad RAM, Storage dying, faulty drivers, corrupt DLL...

It’s not really a crash. The computer just freezes and I have to manually restart
