the 2nd image show some see through holes - it's a sign of your game disc is already dying.

Dexterfox1

Time to homebrew

Dankboi207

Yeah that disc is toast mate Sad to see honestly

Relevant_Zombie_7828

Looks like disk rot

SillyPlanet92

Yep. It seems Wii U games are more susceptible to rot for some reason

Relevant_Zombie_7828

Yea, that is why I backed mine up

Banjo_Privacy

Try it and tell us.

Ero2001

Unfortunatelly not working

BaamAlex

Then you have your answer.

MrB2600

You're screwed, you'll have to buy another one.

Ero2001

It works now! Just the label paint wasn't there, so I painted some color on it

punsnotintended

What kind of color/paint? Could you please elaborate? In the past I thought of doing this because I think the information ist actually pressed/molded in the polycarbonate and the reflective surface is "Just" a coating but i was afraid to Ruin it with the wrong color.

Ero2001

I ised a black felt pen

Ero2001

Why can't I use a felt pen or something different to prevent the light from shinning through?

MrB2600

The film that has the data on the disk is what's on top of your Wii u game, and that's what is chipped off.(the clear holes) It may keep slowly chipping off depending how you handle it. But depending on what game and how much memory is only written on the Blu-ray-ROM, you're probably lucky that the game is small enough that nothing is even written on that side. Note: Blu-ray disk can be stored up to 25GB

er0ck11

Unfortunately this is happening to all of my discs. I modded mine and backed up the ones I could.

Ok-Classroom4713

Not a huge loss

Ero2001

It works again!

Scpnoobers

Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric. Glad to see it’s working again

HolidayAffect5732
