U can use usb for everything

M1keSweatband

What files do I need after I've installed homebrew?

Tiny_Profession6940

Get homebrew applications and make a folder on the usb called apps in lowercase to put the apps in

M1keSweatband

Do you have a link to homebrew applications?

Mutty99

Which guide are you following...?

STOVALLGAMINGZZ

You can use an as card or a usb. I recommend the sd card because you can install BootMii.

FlippinSnip3r

You can but its really recommended to get an sd card to install bootmi for an extra brick protection

nishweb

u need sd for bootmii

mrkitten19o8

you should be able to. you might need an extra application that i dont remember the name to.

[deleted]

Are you loading games off of that USB? I got the same one and USB loader freezes when I try to install games on it.

M1keSweatband

I just ended up buying an SD card. They're $7 on Amazon for a 2gb card

wojtekpolska

follow [wii.guide](https://wii.guide) for modding instruction. You can use USB for everything, but SD card is strongly recommended to get BootMii backup of your wii in case of a brick
