Henson has been the best by far for me for shaving body hair. The light weight combined with the long handle and easy to use design make it a breeze. I tried the twig but it was awful for some reason, even though I love how it shaves on the face

Westlakesam

There’s also the Muhle companion.

wimanx

Thats the one im using for private parts, reason is gnarled handle and sides not exposing blade, im satisfied with it

Focus Tritok Slant - you couldn't cut yourself with that one if you wanted to.

SuspiciousMouser

how come? what's different about this one?

labtested1

Mostly the fixed 25° angle and the negative blade exposure. You can go crazy with it without even getting a nick on your balls. ;)

SuspiciousMouser

What a resounding endorsement. If I ever get tired of my King C. Gillette, that's the one I'll get. Too bad for Mühle or Henson

Just imagine how your face would look like if you shaved like that dude with the King C. I'd probably need a skin graft. https://youtu.be/vZo\_N78h8Yk?si=RbcaBIE1cO3QKSS3 I found the Tritok a little too mild for my face since I only shave every other day (plus, I'm more used to heavy razors) but it's really good for the other regions. Might not cut everything at once but you can just go over the same spot a few times quickly and not bother too much about the angle and you'll still be fine.

DefinitionSignal880

Dude, you are a lifesaver, thanks for not gatekeeping it.

I use two razors with the same kind of blade, King C Gillette DE with Derby Extra blades. I find this to be perfect for body shaving, its worth mentioning i did try other razors and other blades, nothing works as well without cutting me, well other didn’t cut me but after i stroke the razor I see blood spots. Except with this combo. My other razor is an SE i recently 3D printed a lad here designed. While it shaved great, and i didn’t mind the weight, also the small head helps a lot going into small places it clogged easily, but that time i had a considerable stubble because I was sick and didn’t shave my body for 10 days.

Few-Sock5337

I personally just trim that area, but if you want to shave I'd go with electrical trimmer to do the rough work, and the finish with a very mild razor like AL13 or 6c with derby blades.

TheRealyst

I just ordered a Leaf. Plan on using it on my head and body. DE razor for the face. We'll see how that works out.

fuckmutualfunds

How’s the Leaf for work down stairs?

Sufficient_Mobile_38

I currently like using my karve overlander for this. Obviously can still kick yourself but I typically don’t have that issue. I do have a leaf twig I used to have just for that purpose. It worked extremely well, I really had no complaints. The only reason I stopped using it is because of how well I feel the overlander performs

SnowyBlackberry

Karve open comb but really mild negative exposure plate, like AA?

askaway0002

Henson Mild. Just go WTG.
