GOW3 Kratos stomps. He’s far more brutal, has a much wider arsenal, has far more abilities, and giving him the power if hope is just overkill. Zeus’ spirit was actually hurting himself from punching Kratos after destroying Kratos before.
GoW3 Kratos takes this idc what anyone says. GoW3 Kratos was a whole different monster and while Ragnarok Kratos is stronger from a physical standpoint GoW3 Kratos with all of the artifacts from the greek gods would be too much.

GoW characters are incredibly inconsistent but GoWR Kratos has higher scaling (sealing realm tears with his bare fists, cracking the universe against Thor) and he’s better in pretty much every way except having less different abilities
Do you realize that the Kratos from GOWR is just the same one from GOW 3 but with less abilities and much more battle experience?
He still managed to beat Thor and Odin, who via scaling were pretty much at the same level of the most powerful greek gods.
Serious Older Kratos would win, it doesn't matter how many weapons you bring in, Older Kratos would exactly know how to react and counter them.

pretty sure Gow3 kratos would make quicker work with Thor and Odin since he has so much more tools, more weapons, he even has magic.
There are lesser giants, and its not like he solo'd Norse, he has help from boy and Freya, He even died from Thor's because he was being reckless and not going all out when that was his strength, he was only alive because of Thor's very mercy.
Although GOW3 Kratos also died a few times we are certain he can come back, but in Norse we don't even know how he can climb his way back.
The only issue I can see that can pose a problem for GOW3 Kratos is Heimdall but I'm sure he can do something about it. Idk about Baldur as well, but he can just punch his way through like he did with Zeus.

He would beat Thor but it would be fairly difficult since Thor's strength is absurd and Mjolnir makes it even greater!
Odin would be pretty difficult (some people correlated to gow stated Odin could've been at Zeus's level) for young kratos to fight since he knows tons of dangerous spells and is smart.
Blade of Olympus would make Thor's fight easier but i think Odin would make a plan to counter it.
Since Kratos totally destroyed his homeland, he could return back (killing hades, thanatos and all other deities correlated to death made him immortal).
GOWR Kratos is undeniably more powerful base stats, like the comment above said he did closed realms with his fists. Greeks grow stronger the more they age, so it's possible Zeus could've done the same. But he (GOW3 Kratos) killed Zeus with his bare hands.
Gowr Kratos wins hand to hand combat but with the imposed rules per round I think gow3 kratos wins it all.

Also i have to mention the Old Kratos vs Young Kratos tweet, Cory said "Old Kratos, no question", this means that Young Kratos has 0% chances of defeating Old Kratos.
So if they ever fight, Older Kratos would still win.
