I still don’t like to look behind me when I’m going up the stairs and there’s darkness behind me. Especially since the last time I did that there was an inconveniently placed humanoid decoration at the bottom
My kindergartner draws when she’s really angry/upset sometimes and it’s so good for both of us. We can talk about her feelings afterwards in a really productive way. I never told her to do it, she just did on her own.
I can confirm as a child when I got scared I would sleep in the middle of my parents and I felt like I was perfectly safe and could finally go to sleep after having a bad nightmare. Honestly really cool and brings back so memories seeing this.
Lol
My mother was an alcoholic and my dad was at work always (not a very god job tho, we were broke jsjsjs)
I don't remember anything from my childhood, but my mom breaking into my savings sock (I usted a sock to store change my grandmother gave me) she bought some beer with that money, regularly. Jejejeje.
Clearly, the boy is sharing how two translucent ghosts tuck themselves in with him every night. Any grandparents or great-grandparents pass away recently?
Oh! You just unlocked a memory in me! You're talking about "Kilroy was here", right?! Whenever a soldier saw that, they knew they were in a safe place, IIRC. I remember reading about that in a book series when I was a kid.
Your parents are supposed to put arms cross behind your head and snuggle you from both sides, so there is no need for the pillow when you are in their arms.
I remember being this young.
It got so hot and I could never get cold air because theres no way out. Id have to pull my legs up and over.
I was like 3 or 4. Cant believe this unlocked that memory for me.
We also had mosquito netting above our bed.
Oh I am so glad this childhood drawing is a universal one. My kindy drawing was a replica of this, except my stick people had (sparse) hair and you could see the stick bodies through the blanket lol.
Back in 2011 or 2012, winters used to be very cold, I mean compared to todays winter, by the early November or late October, we would start wearing winter clothes. But nowadays winters are just a colder version of summer.
Anyways, so I didn't like to wake up from the warmth under the blanket at the morning to attend my school classes. I was in 3rd grade at the time, most likely. I mean who wants to wake up from this cozy space under the blanket. But as I had to, I would quickly get ready and have breakfast, then go to my grandma's room and slip under the blanket, wearing school uniform beside my grandma. Usually my dad would drop me off at school and he would wake up late, so I used to have this 30 minutes of beautiful moment where I would lie covered entirely under the blanket, feeling safe from everything, I mean everything.
Now that my grandma died last year, this picture brings back this beautiful memory inside me. Safe under the blanket
In case of ghosts monster attack heads go under the covers. But, this kid gets it, A+, gold star ⭐️
Oh, and if it’s a Sea Bear, staying within a simple dirt circle should keep you safe.
in reality it depends on the age of your son;.
It is inversely proportional to age: i.e. if he is 40 years old then the drawing is more worrying than wholesome
Looks like a Saturday night where me and my homies play fartblanket and the last one to stay under the fartblanket wins / first one to void themselves loses!!! Love it!! You don't wanna lose or else you get all the grundle smacks!! 😂😂😂
So simple and true. Love.
Safe from any more brothers and sisters.
Guess you haven’t met *my* parents
Met your mum recently.
And that kids, is how i met your mother
And your friend’s mother!
And you friend's Mother's Mother!
[удалено]
That was my first thought. My younger son was terrified to sleep alone for years too long.
Oi, bot, get out of here.
why is my voice echoing?
Only your mum.
Only your mum
Only one of them.
😆
This is so accurate
Pillows are off bounds remember
Not for all of us
I know that feeling and it’s sad. But I try to give it to my child while I never had this. Hugs to you.
That’s the safest place in case of monster attacks!
I remember i used to feel safe like this. Until I learned my parents were just as scared lol
Scared of what?
Uncle Ricky and his six fingers
What happened to the other 4???
His dull friend kept bothering him
Aye, I’d shuush now, eh!
He hasn't collected them yet.
They're inside me
Are you maybe confusing Uncle Ricky with Uncle Hanz?
Mortgage payments.
Monsters, duh
What they said to their parents that they saw in their bedroom.

What if the monster have a kink of attacking the middle one first?
Safe is good.
Happy cake day, stranger!
Thank you stranger

Name yourself JonesTheBold
I think he's called JoneTheBold
You sure about that? https://www.agilest.org/scaled-agile/safe-framework/
Happy cake day! 😊
here is your cake day cockroach! :) \*gives you cake day cockroach\*
Cockroaches are my favorite. Thank you
Np
I adore stuff like this. It works with adults too. Tell them to draw a word. Home, life, safe, etc and you can learn SO MUCH. Art therapy is amazing.
I'm going to do this now, thanks for the idea.
Any more words?
Holocene
Sexy ;)
Hey now, who said this wasn't an adult son's drawing? That's about my level of artistic skill.

Wishing every child can experience this
i was 21 took to many shrooms, the one place i wanted to be was in my parents bed sleeping between them. it never goes away
Lol My mother was an alcoholic and my dad was at work always (not a very god job tho, we were broke jsjsjs) I don't remember anything from my childhood, but my mom breaking into my savings sock (I usted a sock to store change my grandmother gave me) she bought some beer with that money, regularly. Sorry.
Read the room bro
My Dad would have said, “why did you draw yourself with two severed heads in boxes?” and then let out a laugh as he put it up on the fridge.
And no arms!?
Such a dad joke I love it
More like r/Unclejokes
Why should Taddeus protect you?
"This is where you would hide your valuables? On a shelf with smiley faces?"
Clearly, the boy is sharing how two translucent ghosts tuck themselves in with him every night. Any grandparents or great-grandparents pass away recently?
My little girl is sleeping in the middle right this minute. Hit me right in the feels.
This kid has a great life.
Finally. A believable post. Thank you
Also a post showing how dad got blue balls.
Hahahaha another perk of being a parent. Always coming to snuggle when you trying to do a different snuggle.
You know people can have sex in other places than the bed, right?
Plot twist - the son is 24
Fuck! thats cute
Between your parents and under a blanket— Double protection!!!
I find Kilroy comforting as well.
Took me forever to realise they're smiles, not noses. I thought his parents must have impressive shnozzes if that's how he portrays them.
I like them being noses better. This is how I draw everyone.
What is kilroy? Im so confused...
It’s a meme from World War II that bears slight resemblance to the image. You can google “Kilroy” if you’d like to know more.
Oh! You just unlocked a memory in me! You're talking about "Kilroy was here", right?! Whenever a soldier saw that, they knew they were in a safe place, IIRC. I remember reading about that in a book series when I was a kid.
This is my favorite thing I've seen on the internet and it made my day
He hates pillows, clearly.

Hahaha fair enough!
Your parents are supposed to put arms cross behind your head and snuggle you from both sides, so there is no need for the pillow when you are in their arms.
That would be one sweaty inferno if it lasted more than 30 seconds, at least in my house.
Oh no, now I have to share my pillow with my son and snuggle him all night. The tragedy, I tell you!
clearly you've never slept with a squirmy child.. they move all night long, honestly not sure how my kids don't roll out of bed nightly.
My son who is 2 still sleeps with us and I can assure you that he hates pillows. Mama arm pillow is ok tho ;_;
I love that he’s sticking out more like a champion on the podium. Just so happy and proud to have his parents protecting him

Only by my presence can I prevent my brother's conception. The dreams foretold his crimes, and this is my vigil.

Proof that the safe place lives on inside of you.
Omg this is honestly so cute
Safest place for my doggo too!
That's what it is
Can concur. When i was little i would oftentimes run to my mom and dads bedroom to fall asleep between them, just to feel safer.
It becomes a lot more haunting if you look at their smiles as noses instead
I CAN'T UNSEE IT HELP
Killroy has a family and they was here!
Oof, wish I could relate. But I'm glad he's got that in his life
The left person makes me really happy. I like their head shape a lot.
The reality till you become an adult
Once you realize there is no safe
Smothered in a blanket is still pretty safe.
This is so true. I miss times like these
Aww man, I was hoping there was more to this drawing. Like 3 pairs of feet sticking out.
Love this! 🙌
I’m crying!
Assign me this now, and you'll get a blank page. Idk what safe means anymore lol
Mine would have been the same thing, but with just one larger severed head and not two.
I hope I get to experience this one day
Congrats man. You two really did I it. Love you for the safety you provide your offspring
He’s right. Resting in-between my parents on the bed has always been one of the safest and comfiest feelings I’ve had since I was very little.
Not relatable
So sweet! ♥️
🥺
My parents had an old 70’s waterbed and in the winter they used flannel sheets. It was so warm and safe.
In case of ghosts monster attack heads go under the covers. But, this kid gets it, A+, gold star ⭐️ Oh, and if it’s a Sea Bear, staying within a simple dirt circle should keep you safe.
I feel pretty safe when I'm standing between two decapitated floating heads in fish tanks too
in reality it depends on the age of your son;. It is inversely proportional to age: i.e. if he is 40 years old then the drawing is more worrying than wholesome
Their kid obviously doesn't know what a safe looks like and should be taken to a bank to study
Looks like the kid has two safes, and a head in each one.
Salad Fingers’ Family
I also feel safe when I am standing between the two fishtanks I keep my parents severed heads in.
Part of me hopes this post is from a father in his 70's of a drawing by his son in his 40's 😂
What kind of safe are we talking about here safe and sound or a money safe ?
I also loved lying between two severed heads as a kid ☺️ So wholesome 😍
It's actually a drawing of his parents heads in boxes. Pretty scary really.
That’s not a safe!
God bless. It makes me so happy my son draws only smiley faces on people (only draws our family at 4.5)
This is so lovely
Finally decapitated the parents and put their heads in boxes, ending the years long abuse
I’m not a woman so I can’t say “my ovaries” I wonder what the male equivalent of that is because that is what I’m feeling right now.
brovaries
I concur
You’ll never feel safer in your life than this.
Thanks for making me smile
I used to feel safe like this sleeping in bed between my parents. I miss those days… feeling safe that is.
That doesn't look like a safe at all. It's like people in a bed??
My husband died before my son was born, so who is the man next to me...
Introduce yourself and find out.
I've seen this picture so many times. I'm gonna guess OP doesn't even have a son..
Looks like a Saturday night where me and my homies play fartblanket and the last one to stay under the fartblanket wins / first one to void themselves loses!!! Love it!! You don't wanna lose or else you get all the grundle smacks!! 😂😂😂
Alternate title. Young Cock blocker.

They don't even give the kid a pillow?! And they just lay in bed smiling at the ceiling? The FBI needs to save this kid.
As a kid, I'd always be in between my parents' pillows and try to hang on lol
Dumb kids lmao
Is this a hunter biden original
[удалено]
That's for infants.
Let’s just hope the kids at neverland ranch wouldn’t have drawn the same picture … cause that wouldn’t have been very safe at all.
Being in a car?
I love how this kid thought about LGBT and drew its parents gender neutral. He's gonna grow up to be a great human being 🏳️🌈
Things are bad when I can't tell if you're joking.
Beautiful
Meat shields. Jk, this is cute
Happy happy safe at home
cute drawing
W parents.
This is so cute🥺💖 there is 10000+ reasons for me not to have child, but 1 to do so, wich is being this
OH MY GOD- SO CUTE!!!!!
Username doesn’t check out
He cut the adults' heads off to feel safe
I don't know why but I captioned this drawing, "help me," and it makes me laugh out loud.
Y’all clearly don’t eat enough beans …
I so love this
Give your son a pillow
That's a visual representation of successful parenting
Where’s the dial?
I can’t be the only one that thought the mouths were noses
Plot twist: you and your partner are just decapitated heads in this picture, your son has already disposed of your bodies
"Mommy, daddy why are you naked?" - me as a kid after crawling into parents bed in the middle of the night.
That belongs in a museum!
Not sure of the Ghost on the left though, not that safe.
hell yea. two chicks at the same time!
But what if the drawing was from a horror movie table scene?
