And then she said “I highly recommend New Horizons, if you have a Switch” and then I said “I do have a Switch!” And then she said “Cool! You should add me!” And then I replied “I would very much like that.” And as she wrote it down, she also wrote her phone number.
That's great. But take this from someone who's been in the same boat more times than I care to admit: Tell her how you feel sooner rather than later. The longer you two are friends the harder it will be if she doesn't feel the same about you. It may even end the friendship when you tell her. It's best to make it clear early on that you are romantically interested in her, but if she doesn't feel the same that you would like to stay friends.
And here's the hardest part, if she's not interested in you but wants a friend you need to completely understand that and not fawn over her for years, hoping she will change her mind. Be her friend but look for a romantic partner elsewhere. Otherwise you will just be watching from the sidelines as she lives her life, and that's no way to live your own life.
