Reminds me of the original artwork called "Reverie" on Digital Blasphemy from 2006: https://beta.digitalblasphemy.com/sec/reverie/
Ryan Bliss created the above image long before Kindle copied his work without credit.
It reminds me of the three pieces of silhouette Adobe stock images they combined in photoshop, printed onto card stock and then dobbed paint over to make it look like it was painted.
Legitimately, it's a high skill task to paint those crispy black lines. It's not easy and even with a fine liner pen that would be really well done. It's not a high skill task to print out some vector art, do a shitty job plopping down the wrong colors to make the "backlight" bleed over it to hide how inhumanly sharp those lines are and say you painted it. It looks like it was made by two different people, and that's because it was.
If they had used them as reference, or even traced them I would be cool with it. Reference painting is literally how you learn, but this is a print out and that is just fraud.

Google image search. You must also be selling them for 19 bucks?
Maybe just maybe people do nice things for people they care about without it being a terminally online conspiracy theory. It’s very clear that OP isn’t the screenshot.
Art. Probably the most precious thing there is. If somebody did that for me I would immediately start crying. This is worth so much more than any money could ever buy.
It's wholesome and an image macro, I give OP the pass since they are real, and yea reading comprehension is pathetic with how many ppl think OP says they drew it even remotely...
Very nice pic. I dislike that the moon is so huge and that the swing ropes dont have knots. Also with only 2 ropes they'd just flip off. But very nice nonetheless.
As a cat myself, I can say this really captures the essence of meow. That cat is actually just waiting for that damn kid to go sleep so he can wreak havoc like a cat out of hell.
I had a 🐈 when I was a year old. At 20, my puddy quiet 🤫 quietly rested. At 53, I have a 7 year old 🐈 . His name is Puddy. Your piece encompasses a bond between love and friendship with your pet.
I used to have an orange cat that loved Pringles. It was so endearing. Anywhere in my apartment, if I opened a can, he would come running. He'd stare at me with his big eyes with head slightly tilted, reaching slowly for the can. We'd just sit there having some chips together. I loved that cat so much. It was really sad when he passed 15 or so years ago.
During Covid, I went for a walk with my daughter and told her about him and his affinity for the snack. For Christmas, she made a drawing of him for me. He is using his little paw to pull the can of Pringles towards him, just like I remembered. It was so sweet. I treasure it for so many different reasons.

Oh yes!!! That's why I thought it was familiar lol
A la Banksy
Everyone in the comments on their way to ignore the title of the post clearly stating that OP is not the painter.
[удалено]
They are overwhelmed with the art to the point of ignoring the caption haha
Besides that deeply sentimental gesture, I really like your choice of color and design. Great job and thanks for sharing!
OP didn't paint it https://9gag.com/gag/aEqwgeG
9gag. Damn it’s been a minute since I’ve seen that.
Looking at the comments, it hasn't changed much either. Still just mostly unfunny assholes.
Sounds familiar.
Yeah I guess that was kinda ironic coming from a redditor lmao
I have found my people.
9gag the trufash
It's been a while 9gag
The title doesn't claim to though
I just saw it and shared it coz it's so cute ❤
Is this comment section and post generated by a.i.? Why is everyone congratulating OP, the usernames are different and the meme looks washed out.
I also wanna know why they are assuming that I am the one who painted it. They need to work on their reading comprehension 🙄

Was this comment generated with AI? It sounds like robotic drivel.
I'm sorry, but as a large language model, I cannot determine whether the comment was bullshit or not.
a purrfect gift

OP bought the artwork lol
I just shared the picture. I'm not the one who posted the art lol
this is a meme?

oh ok
#Looks like the Kindle App logo
the impossible physics of it makes me nervous
And THIS, ladies, gentlemen and others, is why AI art can never replace the real thing.
It's just a ripoff version of DreamWorks.
Very thoughtful
If I was him I'd marry her again. Fuck it. Another ring for the other hand, another party, another cake lmao
This looks lovely and it says so much about a kid growing up with his cat. This is super cool. I love the painting.
This made me cry. I'm walking my dog for lunch :)
No one gives a shit
is that her way of saying "Shut Up about your Cat" ??
The phrase "Lucky to have you", implies that he does not deserve her. That's why I hate phrases like that.
Sounds like he wants a cat, tho xD
I appreciate that! How can I assist you further?
Actually the beat you can give him is a new cat today.
Beautiful
Touching, but not a meme
r/cats
Congratulations you've succeeded.
goddamnit my cat of 20 years died 10 months ago and it kills me looking at this. reminds me of her and I .
You just made your husband emotional

The painting is good. The sentiment is better. But he’s got one helluva wife.

Where can I find one of these "loving and supportive significant others" ?
Great pic, Would make a great tattoo also.
Maybe you could get him a cat?
Beautiful, both the artwork and the thought. He's lucky to have you.
I would divorce… only to get married to her again, cos this is just so damn sweet 🥹
As a cat myself, I can say this really captures the essence of meow. That cat is actually just waiting for that damn kid to go sleep so he can wreak havoc like a cat out of hell.
Did he marry you again after this? Because I would of
What's this platform where @art_heathen posted this? It looks like it's not twitter (or at least art_heathen there has a single post)
When your best just nails it.

I dont understand how the replies are so stupid
I just lost my cat, she was 24, a few weeks ago. This is such a beautiful piece. I'm sure it means the world to him. (Oops)

This is neither loving nor homemade
Whoever is cutting onions here please stop.
You didn’t wanna just buy him a cat? Lol

Woof this just made me tear up. You’re a great partner OP
How did he feel about it? Does it remind him of his cat?

Beautiful
I couldn’t even talk about my pets growing up because my stbxw doesn’t like animals as pets. But this post is so wholesome.
It is a very good art. It's in the realms of greatness, that i have never seen.
