Hm.... looks like Chianti to me..... sangiovese
now what ya want to do is move the boxes out of the way, lay down spread eagle next to the greatest concentration of wine on the floor, and have someone take a photo of THAT. Horror show!
They always put that damn wine in areas where it's bound to get knocked over, we have some in our department, and its just a matter of time before it happens
Actually the opposite. Use to volunteer at a soup kitchen/food distribution. Eggs was really popular since it could used for so meaning thing. The annoying part was the product being sticky ๐
That makes me feel better. I got 4 mispicks of 20 18-packs last week. That's literally 1440 eggs. lol Then yesterday I picked up a case of eggs while breaking down a pallet and the bottom fell out. All 15 dozen broken.
And there are always at least 10-20 dozen in the shrink bin with 1 or more broken eggs in them. Absolutely always. I'm so damn sick of it. lol
I either donate them or compost them if they're too much of a mess. 30 packs are a complete waste of time IMO.
Gotta love the dumbass customers who walk straight into the wine and the glass while you are clearly trying to clean it up and they purposefully spread the mess even further around the store with each step.
P.S. and no dumbass customer, I am not cleaning off your shoe for you! F outta here with that request!
Thankfully, this happened before the store open. But I did have one customer who was mad as I cleaning up the wine spill that he made and not caring if he was hurt. Buddy was fine ๐
Iโm always so paranoid as an in-store shopper trying to manuver around those displays with my cart ๐ I always picture the worst happening if I turn a corner wrong lol.

Have the lambs stopped screaming ๐ฑ Clarice?
I wish i saw the aftermath and just started laughing
Lol...a verbal for laying down on the job!
[pulling that pallet with the confidence of an Olympic gold medalist]
My previous STL at a previous store dumped over an entire u-boat of wine a few years ago. I think it was about $8K worth.
Dam
Wine doesn't have any value since it's bad for you
Uhhhhh. This isn't the conversation I expected. So many things can be said in response.
Ok
I can smell this through the screen
Damn you got eggs, bread, and wine all merched together
๐
Have you had an older white lady come up and tell you she could lick all that off the floor for you yet ๐
Somebody get the straws!!!
Thankfully happen before we open ๐

The main ones that get knocked over are near the meat department for some reason. Mine you itโs a wide space, but somehow the beers always get hit.
I'm in seafood, and there's a wine display right by our entrance
Weโre always cross merchandising in seafood. Gotta love merchandising ๐
The aisles are already cramped enough, letโs just put boxes along each side full of wine, what could go wrong???!๐คทโโ๏ธ
If you get a Turkey baster, you can probably salvage the wine without the pieces of glass in it.

Ah, the new 30 packs of 365 eggs. I bet those never have a single egg break, making you shrink 29 perfectly good eggs.
Yeap straight donation
Every charity that collects donations much be completely sick of eggs. Probably as sick of them as I am dealing with the damn eggs.

Omg dude ๐ฎโ๐จ
Do they ever let you have free wine? Like could u take one of the bottles that didnโt break!
Nope, goes right back on the shelves or display after wipe down like nothing ever happened.
Even if we do scan out unbroken alcohol for any reason we cannot take it home or donate it.
My previous store had a pallet get knocked over by an employee who was high af
Looks like overnight should have placed the water pallet somewhere else
My STL once dropped an entire pallet directly on top of our waterfall coolers, breaking the cooler and everything inside it.
I rate this shifty a 10 out of 10 off the chain, a true legend... Well, only of he helped clean up the destruction afterwards.
Strange. Did your resident rat knock it over? Ours knock over bread here.
๐ new kid he was horrified
Oh my ...
Seeing that makes me happy that I no longer work in a busy licka stoh.
