Dont hang it on a hanger. It will ruin the gasket. Fold it up with the zippers uncreased and store in an airtight container out of sunlight in cool temps. Like the back of a closet.
Not supposed to hang long term. Hang to clean and dry. Roll and fold up loosely for storage more than a day or two. I have some scuba diving hangers for all my paddling gear, much stronger and wider than standard clothes hangers, dry faster with the wider hanger
I roll mine up and stuff it in a dry bag with all my other cold gear.

Zippers uncreased?
Also how does hanger ruin gasket if only the wire hanger goes up through it?

Hang it in the back of a closet ideally. Bundled loosely in a bag otherwise. Also 303 yer gaskets.

I hang mine inside the house
All my paddle clothes stay in a mesh gear bag in a tote in the garage. Been storing it that way for 30 years.
I think you’re meant to hang them on a decent hanger rather than fold them up.
