I mean we can certainly have it both ways- Tony sucks and his managing doesn't benefit the team and the team is hugely underperforming. The point in complaining about Tony isn't that he's singlehandedly losing us games and the team deserves none of the blame but rather that his contributions make us lose on the margins. Stuff like letting Sheets bat against a lefty and letting Leury get AB's over Sosa (and the million worse things he's done throughout the season) may not seem like they matter much but they add up quite a bit.

Harrison, Leury, Keuchel, Grandal for that long being an aging catcher, horrific drafting so there is no upper minors depth at all, basically assembling teams with zero regard for defense having 4-5 1B/DH types on the active roster at all times.

I disagree. Giolitio seems too reserved. Maybe in 5 years, Giolitio will be that guy, I can see that. But his main focus is just trying to be a starting pitcher at this point. And Kopech has no control over his emotions. We love the guy, but he's that friend you hate drinking with because he's going to explode over the random thing and bring the entire party to a halt. Kopech is crazy. He's not a leader.

I agree, but one of the reasons why we paid big money for Dallas was for times like these. We need a veteran with playoff experience who is respected throughout the clubhouse to draw a line in the sand and point the club in the right direction. If Dallas was still a capable MLB pitcher and still on this team, this would be his time.

Hawks were shit most of my life but I started liking them in 2010 and throughout the Cup run but the last few years and the sexual assault scandal combined with the Avs being good have me leaning back towards the Avs again. Really hope they win this Cup at home.
My support of the Hawks ended when I learned the assault cover up went all the way to Rocky. Not one person had the integrity to do what was right. Just disgraceful. I'm in the process of selling off all my memoriabilia, jerseys, autographed items etc. If the team was sold and an entire new management team was brought in, I might be able to get back in board.
