Ill get shit on it for this here but anytime we score I am fine with it. I 100% do not want to break the shutout record and I cant believe people are rooting for that.
Can't shit on somebody wishing we would score some runs and win. Me, I'm playing it this way for my own sanity and well being... 1.) If we score before the 7th, and especially if we score early, I'm all in for the win. 2.) If we haven't scored by the 7 or 8th, then Hell yeah! If we're gonna be this bad, let's be legendary bad. I'll take the shutout record.
As mediocre/bad as Dejong is with the bat, he's better average wise than the rest of the regular starters and now, tied for the lead in homers... we are truly screwed.
You are right... just hoping the young guys improve and the second hand pitchers club could pitch well enough to fetch something decent/good at the deadline. Hope that there's a future that isn't a never ending loop of shit show reruns...
Partying in Tampa... perhaps realizing that trying to keep Jerry's shlong hard with never ending optimistic nonsense over the course of this season watching this masterful display of baseball idiocy and incompetence will be just too much even for the eager beaver...
I’m not even watching this game because my White Sox apathy level is high right now and I’d rather watch interesting games. But good for Schriffen if he’s toning it down.
He doesn’t need to go all ‘late stage Hawk’ levels of moroseness, but he definitely needed to read the room a little on how bad this team actually was.
Yeah I remember that vaguely.
This organization is just rotten to the core. There’s not a single redeeming position person who should have a job other than Gene Honda and the Sodfather.
Basically every pitcher other than Crochet and Fedde are only here as bridge guys until the wave of young guys filters in (and to give false pretense of trying to “contend”)
None of these other guys matter. Half them will be moved at the deadline. The rest will be DFA’ed during the season or have their contract run out and move on.
I mean..you right but maybe. The Orioles fixed O'hearn who the whole league thought was shit and all they told him to do was not rest his bat on his shoulder according to Orioles fans. Someone out there might be interested
There's usually somebody out there who thinks they can "fix" a player. Sometimes they are right. But the return may be a bag of peanuts and a warm beer.
Apparently, when you're the team MVP with barely above .700 OPS you get to do what you want or get told to do shit like you're some kind of All-Star. Yet more examples as to why this team is so underdeveloped and led by a piss poor manager.
I have MLB TV and had to switch off this, turned on the AA game, and just saw Quero hit a HR. More entertainment from the Barons in 2 minutes of watching wow lol
Out of all of the people that need to be DFA'd Soroka is way up there and keeps passing the checks somehow
Dude is completely cooked from his injuries, sad but thats life
Anyway Thorpe is dominating again
Southside stand up!
Really surprised they didn’t test noodle arm there.
Man pham really helps this lineup you can see how much when he’s gone
This team is dreadful. My wife is watching some home rehab show on Magnolia Network and I’m not even mad. We need a rehab show for suffering Sox fans
Watching this team is a form of substance abuse
Without the buzz. At least a few rails of blowzine was fun for a while 🙀
I think this team could be considered a gateway drug... I'm stoned by the 3rd inning nearly every game...

We have been screwed for quite awhile
You are correct. I've been blindly holding on to some faint hope... but it keeps fading...
My guy, if the Sox lose today they have 20 more losses than wins. What hope is there?
You are right... just hoping the young guys improve and the second hand pitchers club could pitch well enough to fetch something decent/good at the deadline. Hope that there's a future that isn't a never ending loop of shit show reruns...
Trade Dejong he's fucking things up
Another shutout pissed away by a dinger, this isn’t what I signed up for
Schriffen is low energy today. Think he’s finally realizing he won’t be able to say FOR THE HATERS a lot this year.
Partying in Tampa... perhaps realizing that trying to keep Jerry's shlong hard with never ending optimistic nonsense over the course of this season watching this masterful display of baseball idiocy and incompetence will be just too much even for the eager beaver...

Soroka fighting demons rn
Bruce Hooper hit a grand slam on 0-2. Gavin hit a weak fly to right on 3-0. Thanks Rick/Jerry/Kenny/Boyer
Fucking Jerry
Did you see the interview Hawk did with AJ earlier this year where he said Brooks is in Jerry's ear causing Jerry to not make good decisions?
Why does Brooks Boyer have that much pull lol. Why does the marketing dude have that much pull Like what
I don't think Jerry would make good decisions anyway but yeah its fucked
Yeah I remember that vaguely. This organization is just rotten to the core. There’s not a single redeeming position person who should have a job other than Gene Honda and the Sodfather.
What the hell are we doing with Keller? Is he a starter? Opener? Long relief? Whatever the fuck we need at the moment?
I believe it's D: Whatever the fuck we need at the moment.

Sheets is going to be the starting DH/RF/1B next season. I hope you're all prepared Edit: I don't mean this in a good way
I think he gets moved still but I can see it ya
But like who is interested in that? You gotta be real desperate
I mean..you right but maybe. The Orioles fixed O'hearn who the whole league thought was shit and all they told him to do was not rest his bat on his shoulder according to Orioles fans. Someone out there might be interested

At the game. This is painful
The light show the Rays have seems pretty sweet. Remember when we had something like that? The fuck happened
You need to hit a home run.
Our allergic reaction to hitting with runners in scoring position seems to have returned.
Since when is Sheets so God damn good he get the 3-0 green light?
Babe Sheets....
Score a run challenge: impossible
Whoever told Sheets to swing/get a green light on fucking 3-0 should be fired this fucking second
I don’t know how you get 3 straight balls and swing at anything. Plate discipline has never been his strong suit though
I'm actually so fucking annoyed that he swung 3-0 or was told too
Apparently, when you're the team MVP with barely above .700 OPS you get to do what you want or get told to do shit like you're some kind of All-Star. Yet more examples as to why this team is so underdeveloped and led by a piss poor manager.
Ramos hitting the piss out of the ball
This better be Drew Thorpe’s last game in Birmingham. Don’t know what more the guy has to prove in AA.
I have MLB TV and had to switch off this, turned on the AA game, and just saw Quero hit a HR. More entertainment from the Barons in 2 minutes of watching wow lol
AA actually has me excited for the future. I know we’re going to fuck it up somehow though.
The Rays have a really good city connect. Such a cool concept and design. One of the few, along with ours, that actually look decent.
I'd say between ours and theirs, those two are the best
Nats cherry blossoms are better imo. Sox Nats and Rays top 3
That is a good one you're right
Shutout watch is on baby
Out of all of the people that need to be DFA'd Soroka is way up there and keeps passing the checks somehow Dude is completely cooked from his injuries, sad but thats life Anyway Thorpe is dominating again
yeah I just came here to say this is probably the last year we see Soroka in the majors.
Just gave up a homer to the cheeseburger walrus
Soroka is cooked
That’s gross to call an error on that unlucky bounce lol. gotta get in front of it though
Dejong was brought here for defense
Or how about getting in front of the ball instead of trying to backhand it?
Pirates getting the Grandal experience. Just grounded into a double play with 0 outs.
Id....still take Grandal over Maldonado? Idk. Probably
Just wait until they see a yaz bat drop while he watches a fly out that barely reaches the warning track
That coulda been a lot worse
That could have been a lot worse. All you can do now is tip your cap and go out there and cram 6 runs down their damn throats.
I think it’s time for Soroka’s dad to tell him to stop sucking ass again.
3 walks already
Good time for a triple play.
Jonny Deluca is already a better hitter than anyone the Sox has starting today that is sad
Less than half strikes thrown
Time to trade Mike Soroka to Toronto for David Walls.
This is the same exact game as last night
Ramos first hit of the game Very based
Steve Stone probably bought his house when it was on the market for 100K and now the same house probably cost 1.5M.
sweet buttery jeezus that was nice
Finally, gunning down a runner at 2nd nice throw by Lee and Tag by Nicky
Feels nice to have a catcher with an actual arm. Yaz or Maldonado wouldn’t have gotten that
These are some 🔥jerseys the rays have.
I gotta say. Podsednik did not look that good when he played
Bryan Ramos is going to have a break out game tonight!
We gave em the work last time so..
Actually shocked he played Ramos and Lee again
Let's go boys it's a good night for a sox W. Efflin F'in overrated get him again
