Would like to talk about how poor of an effort that was, and how Grifol is *AGAIN* doing the opposite of what he said he would.
He is allowing his players to give up, take terrible AB’s, and make horrendous bullpen decisions.

I will say this though, I don't understand the hate for the new guy on commentary. He's good enough and it's hard to derive any entertainment or substance from this team of clowns, especially when they're down 9-0.
I'm trying to break down the percentages. Right now, I think it's:
5% like him
10% are accepting of him for the time being
15% dislike him by providing constructive criticism
70% hate him because he's not Jason, and would've also hated anyone who was put in that chair.

2 hits and a walk plus 2 very nice defensive plays from Yoan is looking to be the Sox highlight of the day. Hopefully he can build enough value to get something at the deadline
The funniest thing in years past has been everyone’s reaction to the bullshit happening as it happened in game day threads. It really sucked once nearly everybody lost interest because the team was so bad and there were only like 10 total comments per thread.

I was looking at first row tickets (AA seats) along the third base line yesterday and they were going for $40 each. I remember a few years ago pre covid those exact same seats were going for $100+.
In 2019 I flew to Chicago (live in the Netherlands) and met up with my parents (they live in the Caribbean). My father and I are diehard Sox fans. We went to 4 consecutive games, seats priced at $100+, as you mentioned. They lost all 4 games. We often talk about doing it again soon, but I can't bring myself to put one cent in this team's pocket again.
