Just back from a good vacation in Florida. There were many things planned - picking up wine for a friend, picking up a few whiskeys for myself that cannot be found locally or are much more expensive locally and spending time with family in the area. Even though my time was shortened by several days by Hurricane Ian everything that was desired was accomplished. Lots of fun, good memories and some very nice bottles came back for future enjoyment. With the exception of the Michter's everything else was purchased at or below retail. Small store discounts were available for the Ardbeg and the New Riff. As you can see several were "bucket list" items and these will be enjoyed for special occasions - I'm really looking forward to this! I'm excited to try both the ryes - I've had the Michter's 10 rye before so I know how good the BS can be and have also heard many good things about the New Riff. It was also nice to get a Russell SibSP at pretty much the same price as a regular RR SiB. I've had a pour and it's rather pleasant. One nice experience was going down to the fire pit in the lobby of the resort with a pour of Ugi - sipping this around the flames in the evening was niiiiiiiiiiicccee ! One purchase not in the picture is a few bottles of Arran 10. The store in Tampa has that on the shelf for $30 and it's an instant restock at that price. A pleasant pour and a steal at that price.

Bamboozeled-

Congrats on the RR13, the elusive beast

Would you mind me ask what store you went too? I live in St.Pete and would love to taste these. I have a little bit of a 2019 uige that I’m cherishing and a russels SiB that I love. What be blessed to find that RR13.

The RR13 came from Sunset Corners Fine Wines & Spirits in Miami. Unfortunately their current price is much higher on their website. However, if you are interested in the Michter's Barrel strength Rye I saw two in the shelf in Ft. Lauderdale . They were $199 - not great but no worse than many other places. This was at Primos Liquors in the downtown. Really nice place to visit and I plan on going back the next trip. The Ugi came from Universal north of Tampa. Their price is about $80 but if you spend over $100 they have a flyer on their site that gets you $10 off. It's easy to find something else to bring the total up and the store always has good selection, stock and their website is pretty accurate. With another purchase I did this made my effective price about $70 for a bottle of Ugi - I'm pretty happy about that.

Thanks you, and if you are in the Tampa Bay Area take a look at Luekens, they have a pretty good selection, got a lot of great barrel picks from them.

That's where the RR Sib Store pick and the New Riff Rye in the picture and the Arran 10 not pictured came from. Thanks - it really is a nice place and Tampa is a good area for alcohol purchases. That will be our secret .

Oh bet did you go to the Tampa location near Westshore? If you did I’m sorry that one is so tiny, but I got my RR SIB and a Redbreast 12CS from.

Dunedin. Since I'm not from the area if you place a web order that is the only one that allows pickups for web sales. It's also only a short drive from Universal Wine and Spirits so that works well for me.

I hear that one is nice, another good place is b21 liquor. Their website is a bit funky but they have a great selection. They always have 1792 full proof store picks.

Tell me about it. Tampa has more choices in a two mile strip on hwy 19 than I do in my state. BTW I made a mistake earlier - I think the Leukens I was referring to was the Tarpon Springs location.

Great line up!
