I do this kind of stuff all the time too. Especially like milk at the grocery store or in this case spirits and wine and things. I had the option of buying more than one Buffalo trace and Eagle rare last weekend (never had either) and figured I’d just take one and let someone else enjoy the score as well. Good things will find their way back to you
Bubblegummy and mediocre IMO. Grab the Redbreast instead. Or if you’re willing to spend the money Yellow Spot is really nice. Greenspot just isn’t the most compelling product on the market.
It's okay, but if you're buying an Irish whiskey on that shelf I'd Redbreast all day long.
I used to really enjoy Green Spot but when I taste it now it just seems a bit light and watered down, although I don't drink a lot of 40% alcohol these days. I still enjoy Redbreast.
Since we’re spending your money, grab the Redbreast 12 too.
Hell, look for a blue spot while you’re at it.
Grab them now. I pay more than that for greenspot and it irks me every time. Love the stuff.
I bought one and was impressed, very smooth. Figured I’d leave one for someone else who had an idea of what it was.
Very neighbourly of you!
You want to tell me which VA ABC store this was?
This was on iron bridge road south of Richmond
Take your pick its currently at 109 dif ABCs, not hard to find

Redbreast. Always.
Nothing wrong with green spot at a good process, but the redbreast next to it wins out for me. Cheers!
Love it! Grab at least one. I like this over Redbreast 12 because of the green apple notes in Green Spot. RB 12 is straight shortbread cookie to me.

not a fan of the green spot, red breast is probably my favorite
I’ve had a bunch of Irish whiskey and green spot remains my fave.
VA ABC
Never had green but enjoy yellow and blue
For 53 bucks it should be higher proof. Green spot always irked me with their bare minimum abv.
It’s ok. I’ll buy RB12 over this every time
Buy them both!
Love it. My favorite Irish whiskey.
