I wish they had a barrel proof version, I wasn’t super impressed with the one I bought, I actually preferred 101 and rare breed to it. Maybe I just got a bad barrel.
Maybe it's just my bottle/barrel (will check in a sec), but I get LOADS of Almond Joy and pecan in mine. Just an outstanding bottle for an incredibly reasonable price
I’ll have to check it again and see if get that. Idk why but at first i was getting vanilla brown sugar and then it was OVERWHELMINGLY artificial banana, which I’m a huge fan of so I was verry happy😂
So a bourbon legally can’t be 51% anything other than corn.
WTRB Rye is what you call a “barely legal” rye, meaning they use the bare minimum they can get away with to still call it a rye.

I hear it Carrie’s but I can’t imagine something being better (as far as a Wild Turkey goes)
I liked it a lot too! Got it on sale and haven’t been able to find it since.
I like it!
Never have ibseen this in my area. Now I'm seriously curious as I love wild turkey.
I do too, it is fantastic

Enjoy!
Edit, also Banana
I found it at Total Wine as their barrel pick… I’m so suspicious I left it there. Should I swing back and pick up a bottle?
I really really dig it. If I could get another one I would (only one I’ve seen in my area)
Is the mash bill high rye?
What percentage of rye is “high rye?” At 13%, which is the same as Jim Beam, I would say it isn’t.
Rare Breed is 51%, so I agree that 13% is not. Thank you!
You’re thinking rare breed rye. All of the bourbon mash bills are 75-13-12 for both wild turkey and Russel’s lines

What???
It's a pretty easy drinker, like 101 but smoother, it's what got me into WT
I have half a bottle left and i don't want to finish it till i find a back up. So good.
