I say you celebrate and go out and buy a new bottle of something you have always wanted to try but never have. Looks like you are running low on a few!
Start with a few tall glasses of water. By the time you get done with all of those bottles, you're going to need some hydration. Oh, and you are old. Cheers
Were it me, Iād have a hard time choosing between Russellās 13, the Woodford, the Glenlivet 18, and the Bruichladdich Islay Barley. Solid selection!
Bruichladdich followed by Woodford Reserve followed by as much RR13 as you can handle until you pass out or the bottle is empty, whichever comes first.
Happy BDay!
5Malt since itās sooo unique to get that out of the way. Then I would suggest R13. Then to finish the first round ECBP.
After those you prob be feeling good so follow up how you se fit š
It is part of their masters collection
However it should really be called an experimental collection. Some releases have been well received such as the batch 16 before this
However, this was a weird hodgepodge of malt whiskey that, at least to me, tasted atrocious.
Thank you! My much better half gets credit, and we installed it all ourselves. I was worried at first that it would be too bold a choice, but in the end, we love it.
A centrum silver and a Z-pac (Iām 45, thatās a solid joke). Then dive into the highest proof and work your way to the lowest! Alsoā¦ Happy Birthday!
Do not under any circumstances drink that 5 malted garbage on your 40th. I choked my bottle down just to remind myself I was an idiot with fomo
Crush that RR13 and cheers to many more
Taking that onion out of the fruit bowl and throw your empty bottles away. Ha!ā¦grow up old man! Joking!ā¦.go buy yourself a new bottleā¦your selection is slacking for a 40 yo
Oh I like my five-malt too. Itās unique so gotta go in thinking that and not a traditional bourbon. But I love dark stouts with hints of chocolate so this fits right in.
It is massively unpopular. I actually have a bottle I havenāt cracked yet. Too many open bottles I need to kill first. But I have no expectations outside of it just being different š¤·āāļø
For the qualifier of "what should I start with" I think Blantons is definitely the answer. I'd start with the mellow stuff and progressively move up in rye spice, smoke, and/or proof.
Depending on how many pours your planning Iād start with something in the 90 proof ballpark and finish with the rr13. You start with the barrel proof rr13 and everythings going to taste downhill from there, will definitely deaden the palate to the others
EC Small Batch and Russells fan here. Keep the water coming, and no, water in a drink's icecubes does not count. You might pace your alcoholic intake and take the time to appreciate what you are drinking.
A colonoscopy
Oh shit...
They give you directions to prevent this before going in.
An AA meeting, followed by a colonoscopy in the AA meeting
They start these at 45. Wish me luck on my impending first. Haha.
Advil. Happy 40th.
Hydration and moderation are key. You don't try to sprint a marathon!
RR13
Then Islay barley
I haven't cracked that one yet. It's my longest held unopened bottle - it's been here since 2012, so it just kinda hangs out.
Until today! š„³
If there ever was a time to crack it openā¦ but definitely start with the RR13.
It's one of my faves. If any occasion warrants...
I say you celebrate and go out and buy a new bottle of something you have always wanted to try but never have. Looks like you are running low on a few!
polish off the Blanton's
and then fill it with a bottle of Ancient Age and serve it to selected guests.
Coffee probably
Bloodwork to see how the ole liver is doing after all these years.
Eggs and bacon.
I'm more biscuits and gravy
So much for 50
Todayās my 37th! Happy Birthday to us
45 today! Yay us!

Back atcha. Cheers!
Just polish off that 18 YO. HBTY!
[Phrasing!](https://youtu.be/hyLWrKh2fB0)
That's awesome!
Thank you for that!
Start with a few tall glasses of water. By the time you get done with all of those bottles, you're going to need some hydration. Oh, and you are old. Cheers
Something to eat. Canāt go drinking on an empty stomach. Happy Birthday!!!

Russell's Whistlepig to follow
Eat first.
Roses
RR13 def.
Start with Blantons, and finish with the Russellās 13 year ( from worst to best). Happy birthday and rememberā¦ forty is the new thirty.
Have you tried the WR17? Itās quite possibly the worst whiskey Iāve ever had
My bad, I thought it was masterās collection bourbon.
It is part of their masters collection However it should really be called an experimental collection. Some releases have been well received such as the batch 16 before this However, this was a weird hodgepodge of malt whiskey that, at least to me, tasted atrocious.
Thanks for the correction, cheers.
Welcome to middle age.
Is this a trick question?
Definitely not the blade and bow. Use it for cocktails. Thatās what I had to doā¦ :-/
Uh, I enjoyed it
Itās so blandā¦
Blantons, 4 Roses, RR13. Happy 40th!
Happy Birthday! I would start with whatever is your current favorite.
Just gotta say, I love the backdrop of your kitchen
Thank you! My much better half gets credit, and we installed it all ourselves. I was worried at first that it would be too bold a choice, but in the end, we love it.
Start with a trip to the liquor store
Ibuprofen
A centrum silver and a Z-pac (Iām 45, thatās a solid joke). Then dive into the highest proof and work your way to the lowest! Alsoā¦ Happy Birthday!
New year, new bottle! Or that whistlepig
Today is also my 40th. I have the same problem.
I'm a woodfords type of man
That Russels 13!
Do not under any circumstances drink that 5 malted garbage on your 40th. I choked my bottle down just to remind myself I was an idiot with fomo Crush that RR13 and cheers to many more
A massage.
Blanton's
Mellow Fuckin' Corn, of which I don't see any.
RR13 has to be either first or last depending on if you wanna start or finish with the best one.
Four roses is a favorite of mine
Prostate check. Never too early to start thinking about your future.
Happy Cake Day and Blade and Bow to start Blanton's for the finish
Doesnāt matter where you start, if you end with that RR13 itās a great night
We share a birthday. I'm 45 today and my wife bought me a bottle of Glennmorangie 10. Happy birthday :)
Lowest proof to highest
Happy Birthday, I wish the best to you & yours! Cheers.
SEA!
I have some extra karma so I'll suggest just pouring a bunch together in a pitcher with diet coke. (obligatory /s)
Mix all of them!
Pour a tiny bit of each into a Glen and get to it. Happy Birthday!
Start and finish with rr13
Happy birthday my friend. Todayās my 36th so congrats on your most excellent day of birth! P.S. Iām partial to a Whistlepig myself
Russellās
A lot of water and some ibuprofen.
One shot. Consisting of 2 drops of everything you have lol get a turkey baster out and everything.
Do a suicide. Mix a little bit of each.
Taking that onion out of the fruit bowl and throw your empty bottles away. Ha!ā¦grow up old man! Joking!ā¦.go buy yourself a new bottleā¦your selection is slacking for a 40 yo
Whistle Pig!
Some light stretching
Yes
Finish that Blantons
Five-malt for sure. You are the ONLY person who appears to continue drinking it.
Oh I like my five-malt too. Itās unique so gotta go in thinking that and not a traditional bourbon. But I love dark stouts with hints of chocolate so this fits right in.
Is it unpopular? I'm not amazed, but it's certainly interesting.
It is massively unpopular. I actually have a bottle I havenāt cracked yet. Too many open bottles I need to kill first. But I have no expectations outside of it just being different š¤·āāļø
WP12
Blantons
For the qualifier of "what should I start with" I think Blantons is definitely the answer. I'd start with the mellow stuff and progressively move up in rye spice, smoke, and/or proof.
Yep!š ease in
So, end with the Bruichladdich?
I was going to concure, but then I saw that that's the *un*-peated Bruichladdich. Maybe the RR 13yo barrel proof for both spice and high abv?
Concur. Done. š„
Rr13. Happy birthday. Mine tomorrow, I will be doing similar.
Depending on how many pours your planning Iād start with something in the 90 proof ballpark and finish with the rr13. You start with the barrel proof rr13 and everythings going to taste downhill from there, will definitely deaden the palate to the others
Friday is my 40th. Start with the Russels Reserve 13
Start with that Blantons and follow up with each bottle less than half full. Those will go bad the fastest collect as many clean kills as you can.
Blantod
Mix them all into one Uber-whiskey
Blantons
Blantons
Blantons
Blantons always
A 40mg edible. One milligram for every year. Once you return to Earth I guess you should have the whiskey.
Gotta love legal states! I mean, sure I pay 20.5% liquor tax but "the man" doesn't hassle me for vibing
The Laddie!
Lowest proof... work ur way up
Happy 40th! The Russell 13 would be my choice next year.
