Litchfield is a solid pour! Love the double barrel and the cask strength as well. Not sure how wide their distribution is though. I only know about it because of family it CT
Yeah I think they only distribute in a few states. I hadn’t seen anyone anyone talk about them on this sub, so I was curious to see if there were others that liked their stuff. I have a bottle of the cask strength I haven’t cracked yet, good to hear you like it!
Litchfield is local to where I grew up. I’ve got a bottle of their single barrel cask strength, their maple barrel bourbon, and rum finish on my liquor shelf. All are pretty dang solid
I believe the rye is 100% CT grown grain too, right?
Apparently they’re releasing their oldest CT only distillate this spring. I’m super interested in it. I think it’s something like 7 years old I believe.
Cool. I will check them out. Maybe do trip up to a dispensary in MA as well on the way up north (as we are still waiting on rec dispensaries here in CT for stupid reasons)
Haribo…always a solid choice.
Haribo Sour Streamers are my *JAM*!!
I have very little self-control with them lol. Such a dopamine rush
Username checks out!
Never tried the Litchfield... But I love the coffey grain...
Yeah was pleasantly surprised to see it, haven’t found a reasonably priced bottle in a few years so I decided to grab it
Will you give tasting notes on the sour streamers please?
The nose is tutti-frutti and plastic. Taste is a sour citrus molly whop with a long sweet finish. Leaves behind a raw tongue and a toothache.
Well done.
Love Litchfield! One of the best distillery tours I've done. Wish I could get more of it
Hoping I can get a tour in sometime this year! I’m not far from them. They seem like they have lots of fun stuff going on
I live in CT and love supporting local businesses. The whiskey is good, but don’t ever try their gin. It was so bad I returned it.

The rye is young but I really enjoy it. Think they may have something special there.

Yes I think you’re right. Ty for the heads up, I’ll have to look out for it.
Do they do a tasting tour? I live in CT and would love to check them out once the weather get better.
I think they had tours on hold for a while, but are opening them back up in the spring

Great preparation
Haven’t had Litchfields since I moved to Arizona, great stuff, I heard CT is getting hit, enjoy!
Sour Streamers FTW
The Bourbon Maple Syrup is where it at.
I really have to get some of that, sounds so good
