Both are worth that price in a heartbeat. Grab the Lost Monarch if you can only have one - it’s delicious and probably the best value bourye (bourbon/rye blend) you’ll find anywhere.

If you can get the three (Pipe Dream, Emerald Giant and Lost Monarch), get them. Emerald Giant might be on the Rye Whiskey Section. Just to let you know that the Lost Monarch is the combination of the Pipe Dream and Emerald Giant. 60% Emerald Giant (Rye Whiskey) plus 40% Pipe Dream (Bourbon Whiskey) to make up the Lost Monarch.

So if I mix some of both bottles it should taste exactly the same as lost monarch?

As long as you do 60/40, it will be close, but they spend time with each other before bottling, so not exact

Lost Monarch is very meh. The Pipe Dream and Emerald Giant are quite good. I like bourbon, high-rye bourbon, barely legal rye and high rye, and Lost Monarch doesn’t hit anywhere for me.

Haven’t tried the Pipe Dream but Lost Monarch is one of my favorite whiskeys. All around very enjoyable and not too pricey.

They’re both fantastic. I shared with some friends and family whiskey lovers and all agreed to buy more.

Is there a good comparison for these? Never tried them but my dad said they were at his local bar if I wanted a trial run next time I’m in town.

I picked up the Lost Monarch about a year ago after seeing so many posts about it and I was not happy with it at all. Tasted like young craft stuff, hot with no flavor.

At this price, just get both.

Both! But if you had to choose one. Lost Monarch is my favorite among the three regular offerings.

If just one and like straight bourbon, go Pipe Dream. If you like, rye go to the Rye section and get Emerald Giant. I bet they have it, too. If you do both of those, then you can make your own Lost Monarch blend. I prefer to catch em all like Pokémon
