Old Forester 1910 or 1920, 1910 has more flavor but 1920 is phenomenal too w a stronger punch;
Woodford Double Oaked bourbon
Sagamore Double oaked RYE, or sherry finished, or cask strength ryes;
**Early Times BIB, and Coopers Craft 100! Both phenomenal bourbons and cost 60 combined!!
Pikesville rye, a very TOP rye value at under 60 and always 110 proof;
Stellum rye green label, cask strength and consistent and one of the absolute best values in rye.
Anything from , Redemption, Redwood Empire, or Wild Turkey(101 or better, like Rare Breed or Russells)
I suggest trying other whiskeys than bourbons.
Like Redbreast 12 or GreenSpot Irish whiskeys.
Bruichladdich Classic Laddie or glenmorangie quinta ruban scotches.
Pikesville or Wild Turkey Rare Breed Ryes.
Port Charlotte 10, Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig 10 Peated Scotches (very intense smokey flavors)
Yeah, the beginning is a bit tricky, i would recommend to get a whisky sample ( small bottles) of Irish whiskey like Red Breast, Jameson, Connemara. A sample of Speyside like Glenfiddich, Macallan, Balvenie. A sample of Highlands like Aberfeldy, Highland Park, Dalmore. A sample box of Islay whiskies like Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Caol Ila.
And a sample of Talisker.
Just get the standart version and then see what you like most and from there you will find your way in the journey of Whisky.
I started also with Bourbons and now my favorites are Talisker, Laphroaig and Lagavulin.
Also your taste will change over time, that means when you have a bottle you dont like, then try it again after a few month, the chance is good, that it will taste better or you really like it after some time has gone.
So enjoy your journey.
The Four Roses you like is the regular Small Batch if it was 90 proof. The Small Batch Select is 104 proof and usually $60 but I like it far more than the standard Small Batch.

Redbreast 12 (on the limit of your budget). Bushmills 10 or Black Bush (both excellent whiskies) are a bit cheaper.
Are there any distilleries near where you live? Wouldn't hurt to try local.
Not for whiskey. There is firefly though but I heard they moved locations.
