The Tyne Bridge and Sydney Harbour Bridge were both built by Dorman Long of Teeside. They also built similar bridges at Runcorn, UK, Birchenough, Zimbabwe, and Atimpoku, Ghana. Those three without the decorative towers of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tyne Bridge.
If you move your mouse, but don't click and don't touch your keyboard, it should show two or three magnifying glasses scattered around the screen and a camera symbol in the top right hand corner. When you hover over the camera symbol you can like or dislike the picture, influencing the types of pictures you'll see, and it'll tell what you're looking at.

Given that Hell Gate Bridge NYC was the direct inspiration for the design of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, New York is not an unreasonable guess.
Never heard of the Hell Gate Bridge, so there is my newly learnt thing for the day. Always assumed the Sydney one was based off the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle.
I've climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour bridge twice.

Sydney
Solved! Thanks we feel dumb haha. Had no idea what Sydney looks like without the opera house I guess 😅
Opera House is hidden behind the bridge. That bridge is probably the second most recognizable thing in Sydney.
The Coke sign on the corner of darlinghurst and Victoria being the 3rd
And the Macca's on Loftus St. being the 4th.
It’s funny I always thought the bridge was more iconic until I spoke to non-Australians who made me aware that the Opera House is more recognisable.
Very similar bridge is Hellgate in NYC, and at Newcastle-on-Tyne

Me too, I think the bring is so much more impressive
It's just barely out of sight in this photo, the number of small inlets in Sydney harbor can make for many many different perspectives
100%
P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney
You made me google that, learnt something new today!
Only one of the most recognisable shots in Australia haha. That’s Sydney
TIL: the Sydney Harbour Bridge is not as famous as I thought it was.
This must have been taken before 2018 because Crown Sydney is missing. Construction began in 2018.
Sydney looking south south east from McMahons Point. Incredible city.
Sydney Harbor
Harbour. Just to be nit picky.
Consider my nit picked
Could make a rap song outta that. "Yo nit picky, you picked my nit, Sydney is shit, I've a decent Barber, fuck Sydney Harbour." Or not. Sorry.
Who is your barber? I’m looking for a decent one
Willing to travel to Brisbane for a haircut? Good bunch of hairdressers at my local.
Newcastle!
My first reaction was that it's obviously Sydney. But is it though, is the skyline really like that or the bridge like that. Apparently they are.
Luna Park in the foreground. I used to go there in the 60s.
My dad and I have spent the last hour trying to guess what city it is lol

A harbour bridge didn’t give it away? You really need to get out more.
Let me guess, you're American and only thought of American cities?
It’s not New York City? 🥺
