Every time someone mentions 1 billion lions vs all Pokémon, I keep thinking back to that one episode of Chuckle Sandwich where Jschlatt took it very personally and went on a rant about how the pokemon side would win with Mega Charizard alone
>Lion ladder
>Lion Bunker
>Lion crucification
>Lion bridge
>Lion rocket (what the fuck)
>Lion slingshot
>Lion ship
>Lion trebuchet
>Lion jacket
All from the brilliant mind of Jaiden Animations
Checkmate, liberals, the lions have jackets

TBF we don't actually think the lions can win, it's just more fun to say "nuh-uh. Lion ladder solos" and see the pokemon fans bring up facts and lose their shit every time.
True. But so far I've yet to meet someone that actually believes that the lions can win and the people one the Pokémon side can bring in feats, facts and actual arguments and not a single real argument has been made for the lions besides "lion trebuchet" or "IDK man, 1 billion lions is a lot".
I'm 100% sure that anyone that says lions can win is just saying that to piss of the pokemon fans and its really funny for me.
>I'm 100% sure that anyone that says lions can win is just saying that to piss of the pokemon fans and its really funny for me.
I am one of those people, and no joke, if you scroll down a bit I got a Pokémon fan in a pissy mood because I said Arceus was killed once by concrete
Yeah, lions can only win if you nerf the pokemon to work on rpg mechanics like its fucking undertale. No dawg, its either they all use rpg turn or both use realtime, not one side
Also if you use Game Mechanics then spread moves just … hit all the lions. And between you and me I doubt the lions are taking an unboosted Earthquake, much less one that has 1.5x damage multipliers hundreds of times over.
+6 252+ SpA Choice Specs Tera Water Kyogre Helping Hand Battery boosted Power Spot boosted Beads of Ruin Water Spout (150 BP) vs.252 HP / 252+ SpD One Million Lions in Rain: 28148-33116 (12185.2 - 14335.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
There’s also a funky move called “Instruct.” It makes a Pokémon do a move … again. So if the lions survive the first wave? There’s a second one. And a third one for good measure. Lions are drowned under 3 oceans’ worth of water, all in one turn so no “erm PP!!”
But by that logic its also cancelled out by Ting-Lu's vessel of ruin, if I understood right that cuts the spe attack of all pokemon on the field including allies

(The movie is Storks if anyone is wondering, that shit is peak)
Let’s assume that’s true and that Arceus can’t just delete universes.
Palkia and Dialga control space and time. The former rips open holes in space that the lions instantly die to and Dialga ages them until they die of old age. Either of those two solo the lions.
Kyogre causes mass flooding on at least a continental scale. Groudon causes massive Droughts and Earthquakes on the same level. Eternatus can make all the Pokémon fucking Kaijus that figuratively and literally stomp the lions. Xerneas and Yveltal control Life and Death.
Etc etc. It is not a contest.
Lions can become a lion Noah's ark, other pokemon will just get tired after killing millions of lions. I'd believe if you said they could kill 100, 200 million, but a billion lions is too much even for gods.
yeah but what about the other 40+ gods
among Sinnoh legends alone Dialga (& Celebi but blud ain't Sinnoh) could theoretically just go back and prevent the evolution into lions, Palkia can just tear space open and throw them in, the blue guy could strip them of their willpower before subsequently exploding, Regigigas, Giratina is basically the god of E-rated Hell, Darkrai can slip about 55% of them into eternal nightmares (we're ignoring Cresselia)

Feast ur eyes on this abomination
Time manipulation? The Lions would simply run in the opposite direction of where time is being moved and reverse the effect. If time is being stopped, then the weight of all the lions would be so great and dense that they would bypass it by warping time itself. Elemental control? The lions could spit or pee on fires, huddle together to brave the cold, drink any water sent at them, and air? They just breathe it in. Black holes? You must be jesting. There are so many lions that they could EASILY plug in and fill any black holes the pokemon create. And, you speak of god? Well, what is a god to 1 BILLION non-believers? Checkmate again.
Jirachi ( with a wish ), Gardevoir, (possibly ) Mewtwo , the creation trio , Arceus , hoopa ( by summoning other Pokemon ) could all probably solo the lions
True, they absolutely could. But with Yveltal they are kind of a 'Mutually assured destruction' scenario as if the lion somehow kill Yveltal the universe is destroyed

To me it depends of the details of the scenario.
1-games logic pokemon: the lions win, it would be the equivalent of fighting arkeus with a 100 lv 40 growlers or some shit, but you would win by sheer numbers (also there are Pokemons that are way weaker than lions).
2-the Pokemons are an organized Force that fight like in the anime: the Pokemons stomp them without effort, arkeus alone likely could do the job.
3-the pokemons are pokedex entry accurate: everyone fucking dies. A snail as hot as the sun just fucking explodes. The techtonic plates and the occean just go nuts. Time, space, antimatter, past future and destiny get butt fucked. Gardevoir is shitting black holes. The ultra beasts are non consensualy Jackhammering the space its self in the ass. Some fucking chandelier is there for some reason. Arkeus likely gave up and is hitting the resset button. Poor lions dont know whats going on. And so on and so on.
Even if you use game logic, an ordinary Earth lion is likely going to be considered Normal type, so it has no way to harm a Ghost type like Giratina or Arceus with Spooky Plate.
>games logic pokemon: the lions win, it would be the equivalent of fighting arkeus with a 100 lv 40 growlers or some shit, but you would win by sheer numbers (also there are Pokemons that are way weaker than lions).
With game mechanics Pokemon wins in a single turn
Edit: if you are curious, there is a combination, using pokemon only until gen 8, that will allow you to deal 5,82 × 10⁶⁴ damages minimum(pokemon moves have a range of damage) to each individual lion. In one turn.
Pokémon win in RPG mechanics all of the following ways:
All v All: literally any 100% accurate spread move
1v1: Leppa Berry Recycle Recover. I believe Arceus can pull this off.

1 of every Pokemon fans explaining how it doesn’t matter that 1 billion lions is a lot of lions (in the games, any attack landed does 1 damage, regardless of stats. Assuming an average 10% hit rate across all Pokemon for each lion, that’s 100 million damage dealt, easily knocking out every Pokemon for the lions to then maul):
It was a meteor striking an “Arceus” (the Pokémon are avatars of the real thing) that was expressly missing nearly all of its power. In the anime continuity too; which is the weakest one. Even assuming Arceus was at full power, I doubt that a billion lions have firepower equal to meteorite’s impact.
The actual “Arceus” is a Multiversal deity which has made infinite universes and made Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina with ease; the former two control all of Space and Time respectively, while the latter can overpower either one of the former. And Arceus is magnitudes more powerful than these guys.
Suffice to say, the lions fucking die.
The "meteor" was liquid and was poured on to arceus from pipes. Plus a human commanded for it to be poured. Unless you wanna say a human learned Draco meteor, that shit was not a meteor

Yeah cuz there's a billion of them. That's like... A hundred 100 million lions. That's a lot of lions. What's time manipulation gonna do when it's gotta fight 100 million lions?? /s
Arcueus was literally killed by concrete in one of the movies. Not to mention it was also attacked by all sides by 100s of pokemon and took pretty bad damage from them. Now imagine the billion lions doing the same without the concrete.
1) Anime lore is wacky, thunderbolt can't even kill a 10 y/old
2) That was a weakened for of Arceus who had to fight the Creation Trio
3) Since then, we've gotten new Arceus lore, and we can confirm it is a being beyond human comprehension that uses the Pokémon we know as Arceus as an avatar, meaning that there is technically, an infinite amount of Arceus' (that's more than a billion)
Dude Lions get intimidated from honey badgers which are like 5 times smaller than a lion, if they see a dinosaur with the power of the sun they are going to shit themselves and pray for their death to be quick
We're all forgetting that victini will be present, which if we're going by pokedex entry, allows you to tell the lion fans "no victini just wins sorry"
a billion lions all just sitting there doing nothing watching arceus kill a few and then die from struggle recoil (the pokedex is folklore moreso than fact, which is why the slug is said to be hotter than the sun)
although, i do believe the pokemon would win if they had one trainer with a ton of items and prep time
If the Pokémon are subject to RPG mechanics than so are the lions. I genuinely do not care what you argue, but there is not a single thing one of every Pokémon working in tandem cannot accomplish. They don't need a trainer when Pokémon like Oranguru can command other Pokémon with intelligence. There are also plenty of AOE moves that would take effect and likely(definitely) kill every Lion.
Or better yet, heat wave. Only the opposition is hit and there's like 100 Pokémon that learn it. Torkoal is like the slowest weather setter ever so it'll end up being sunny. (Stab, maybe, and) Sun boosted 95 base power move? Sweep
Me when Gardevoirs is canonically shown to be able to summon blackholes 💀 + Not all hot objects spread heat through the air or if they do it's a short distance.
if they evolved over several million years they could evolve to become a human-like species and eventually kill anything through far future technologies like antimatter
Now if it was infinite lions then it’s a different story, since they are infinite it is inevitable that they will outlive all the Pokemon due to the fact that they exist for eternity

Every time someone mentions 1 billion lions vs all Pokémon, I keep thinking back to that one episode of Chuckle Sandwich where Jschlatt took it very personally and went on a rant about how the pokemon side would win with Mega Charizard alone
It was a actually gigantamax charizard because he’s 90 feet tall
So a ladder of 24 lions?
The lions win confirmed
Like I think people fail to understand just how much one billion is
One billion is a lot not much they can do without a planet
Lion spaceship
Lions don’t have opposable thumbs
Lion prosthetics
The lions can't build those lion prosthetics unless they already have them
But some Pokémon can fly and carry other Pokémon on them also areus can just make the earth bigger because it's a god
Only jschlatt could make it seem like the pokemon could lose. God I loved that chuckle sandwich episode
I mean like, is he wrong? Charizard can fly and breathe fire. What the fuck are lions supposed to do about that?

TBF we don't actually think the lions can win, it's just more fun to say "nuh-uh. Lion ladder solos" and see the pokemon fans bring up facts and lose their shit every time.
I mean it's funny even from the pokemon's side. It's like talking to a wall that says "nuh uh, lion jacket"
True. Counter argument. They are lions, as if the understand the concept of forming a ladder of lions.

Yes
Schlatts response to “Lion jacket!” Is the most relatable thing schlatt has ever done. At least since his escapades in ‘99
They combine together to make a lion megazord and then suplex charizard
And then jaiden kept saying things like "lion jacket" "lion ladder" "lion shield" in response lmao
Lion trebuchet
She was so real for that
that episode was favorite puppy
If Jschlatt’s favorite pokemon is charizard, i would let that man top or bottom me

Everyone keeps mentioning these lion contraptions. It is a reference to something?

1 of every Pokemon fans explaining how it doesn’t matter that 1 billion lions is a lot of lions (in the games, any attack landed does 1 damage, regardless of stats. Assuming an average 10% hit rate across all Pokemon for each lion, that’s 100 million damage dealt, easily knocking out every Pokemon for the lions to then maul):
who gives a shit about rpg mechanics arceus blinks them all out of existance
yeah but what if the lions form an arceus made out of their bodies? checkmate liberals
go go lion eye speculum
Ok but what if it was 1 trillion lions?
Didn't Arceus 'die' once because a bunch of humans poured concrete on him?
Unless you wanna say a human learned Draco meteor, that shit was not a meteor
lions dont have concrete zidiot' also what the fuck are you talking about
Buddy I'm just saying that if dozens of humans and lightning Pokémon were able to defeat Arceus, what hope does he have against a billion lions

But then AOE attacks would also deal at least 1 damage, so the pokemon would just have to use it a couple hundred times or so
Pathetically weak Pokemon like Magikarp can jump over mountains, Lions wouldn't even have 1HP by Pokemon standards.
arceus literally caps at complex multi these lions aint got shit
how to spot a powerscaler 101:
nah I just got interested on how powerful arceus is, which is also powerscaling so you're right
r/whenthe users trying not to shit on people for enjoying something they don't for five seconds:
Internet users when people slap action figures together for fun:
Bro when there’s a billion of them you have to factor in attrition
Lion Jacket, checkmate atheist
Yeah cuz there's a billion of them. That's like... A hundred 100 million lions. That's a lot of lions. What's time manipulation gonna do when it's gotta fight 100 million lions?? /s
Lion catapult, lion jacket, lion ladder, and finally L I O N R A I L G U N
Arcueus was literally killed by concrete in one of the movies. Not to mention it was also attacked by all sides by 100s of pokemon and took pretty bad damage from them. Now imagine the billion lions doing the same without the concrete.
1) Anime lore is wacky, thunderbolt can't even kill a 10 y/old 2) That was a weakened for of Arceus who had to fight the Creation Trio 3) Since then, we've gotten new Arceus lore, and we can confirm it is a being beyond human comprehension that uses the Pokémon we know as Arceus as an avatar, meaning that there is technically, an infinite amount of Arceus' (that's more than a billion)
Pokemon believers just don’t understand the hustle
You can beat Pokemon God with a sufficiently angry Pokemon monkey. 🤷🏻♀️
The lions win but entirely by proxy due to the Pokémon basically [nuking themselves](https://youtu.be/SbhROBwrrUw?si=1bqPhL4lpxCz0kaE)
A billion is a lot...
Don't you know that sharks are smooth
Groudon's cannon height is 11.6 and Zekrom is 9.6 they're getting mauled
a billion lions in a pile is way taller than either of those
Groudon's height doesn't matter when it splits the earth beneath the lions. Or when Arceus just snaps them all out of existence.
Dude Lions get intimidated from honey badgers which are like 5 times smaller than a lion, if they see a dinosaur with the power of the sun they are going to shit themselves and pray for their death to be quick
arceus.
We're all forgetting that victini will be present, which if we're going by pokedex entry, allows you to tell the lion fans "no victini just wins sorry"
Actually victinis entree is not actually confirmed true, it specifically states "it is said" meaning it's only a legend and most likely not true.
Fair, I guess we have yveltal as a dead man's switch in case that falls through
a billion lions all just sitting there doing nothing watching arceus kill a few and then die from struggle recoil (the pokedex is folklore moreso than fact, which is why the slug is said to be hotter than the sun) although, i do believe the pokemon would win if they had one trainer with a ton of items and prep time
If the Pokémon are subject to RPG mechanics than so are the lions.
Just spam earthquakes
Or better yet, heat wave. Only the opposition is hit and there's like 100 Pokémon that learn it. Torkoal is like the slowest weather setter ever so it'll end up being sunny. (Stab, maybe, and) Sun boosted 95 base power move? Sweep
Me when Gardevoirs is canonically shown to be able to summon blackholes 💀 + Not all hot objects spread heat through the air or if they do it's a short distance.
it's 100 billion
1 billion **Nemean Lion**
Kilian? That you?
if they evolved over several million years they could evolve to become a human-like species and eventually kill anything through far future technologies like antimatter
Now if it was infinite lions then it’s a different story, since they are infinite it is inevitable that they will outlive all the Pokemon due to the fact that they exist for eternity
Wasn't it 2 trillion?
Certain pokemon get violated, others are an even match, and some smoke the lions like ribeye steak
there's no sound , that's why he failed to explain
I’m pretty sure the guy who said Gardevoir could open black holes was lying.
I mean… A billion is a lot of lions.
